Fukk Bob Arum and fukk Dana White, they are both pieces of sh!t!
Greedy scumbags. They hate each other because they are the same person and they cant stand themselves but they dont know it!
dana white lived in dorchester for a while i'm pretty sure
that would be the murder capital of massachusetts
he ran a gym for street kids in boston when he was a young adult, anyway. and i'm pretty sure dorchester was where it was at.
cant find out where it was without doing a ton of digging, but he's no cake-eater
he is not some spoonfed rich kid
certainly not a perfect dude either
but when you're the most important person in the history of your sport you aren't going to make everybody around you feel good
you have a job to do, and it is more important that the job the people around you are doing. you are no longer the person you once were.
I just saw a video interview where Dana explains that after opening up a boxing gym, he was approached by 2 mobsters who wanted to extort him. They threatened him if he didnt come up with the money by the following day. He said he didnt have the money so he booked a flight to Vegas and never looked back.
Thats the one thing they do well. fight bonuses, other then that none of those guys are making shit. Barker just made more then Silva, the so called best MMA fighter ever.
6000 + sponsors (allowed by the ufc) is much more than 600 on a card that will sell 1kk+ ppv packages...
Anderson Silva gets a PPV cut.
MMA is not doing as well as it was. if it was my friends would be calling me to get together for the fights like we usually would. it has been awhile. ofcourse none of us want to pay for the Hopkins/ Dawson match, but im sure we'd pay for that before we would pay to see Brock Lesnar fight again.
heres a point Dana never seems to bring up. almost all cards done by UFC are PPV and they average one every month. theres free boxing on espn friday night fights, free boxing on Hbo and Showtime, not to mention any spanish and european coverage most of us never have to pay extra for if it's on cable. i dont care about the difference in pay between fighters, im strictly speaking from a paying customer's perspective. so i get my boxing fix every week, i get to watch up and coming fighters fight without having to sit through a reality show to see fights. thats my only beef with MMA. you get Ultimate fighter reality show, Inside MMA, repeats, and some cage fighting on cable but you must pay for the big show. always.
lol Dana is from a wealthy suburb out side Boston and started acting like a tough guy when he got older but has never actually been in a street fight.
Look what Danas mom said about him.
These negative changes in Dana became more and more noticeable. I kept hoping Dana would recognize that he was becoming a different person, that there seemed to be a correlation between his increasing wealth and his increasing unkindness to those around him. I thought he would take a step back and look at what it was he was doing to friends and family. As his mom, if anyone could or should say something, I felt it would be me. Indeed, most people take advice from their moms as constructive, at least as well intended. In an e-mail, I told my son that I wanted my old Dana back. I felt like aliens had abducted my Dana and replaced him with this other person I really did not know. I assumed he would at least think about what I had said and about what it was, he was doing, but his response was the furthest thing from stepping back and thinking about what I had just told him.
Dana immediately e-mailed me back: "Who the **** do you think you are, talking to me like that? No one talks to me that way."

"boxing been around 100 years...Bob Arum around being promoting fights for 110 years"
"Bob Arum dont know anything about...anything"
"you dont think Bopb Arum is a big fat rich pig? you damn right he is!"

nice picture ..but one thing i respect about the cunt dana white is that in the ufc the best have to fight the best..and plus he pays most of his fighters fu** all..that's the way it should be..boxers on the top get too much money now days ..they can choose if they wanna fight or not..it's bullsh1t
Would be funny if there were actual pactards here crying about what Dana is saying. I'm a big Pac fan and I agree with everything Dana is saying.
I said pactards....now there's two kind of pac fans....true pac fans and pacfarts..the ones who eat out of bob arums hand.
pactards use to love dana when he talked sh1t about floyd now that he's talking sh1t about the guy who owns pacs soul they crying lol

What are you talking about? boxing gets tons of good quality matchups a year. Literally dozens. So what if Pac/May havent fought. Thats one fight only casuals would say is a make or break for boxing. I really don't see how you can be a fan of boxing and make that comment, but maybe you arent.
UfC is the ultimate hype machine, they base everything off of the fact that these guys are in the UFC so they are the best. You can say all those matches are the best, but I could care less.
real talk there are tons of good HBO fights per year
The same exact thing is happening in mma. Undercard guys are making **** in ufc. Its just there is so much more money in Boxing and not as much money at all in ufc but the money is more spread out in ufc still does not mean ufc undercard fighters are making **** they are just getting a bigger % but it is not as much at all.
Say what you want about getting paid peanuts, but even a guy in the undercards can get rewarded if they perform the way the fans want them to.
