Manny Pac gets mad respect for sticking to his guns on OST with the FMJ fight. Nobody will say he backed down to FMJ's demands at this point. He's solid in my book.
So with Roach coming out and saying FMJ is hittable now, the camp should be comfortable enough to take the test and make the fight with FMJ.
unless Pac has found the fountain of youth, he's slowing down too. So this business of waiting for the other to slow down is a joke
if anything, its Floyd who might be pulling a Sugar Ray. Pac's whole game is all about speed while Floyd relies a lot more on his skills and ring smarts
this does take me back to when we all thought srl was buying time against hagler...
only thing here is for the record the manny camp can't say that fmj didn't balk on any of their demands for a fight...
Anyone who has followed boxing for a while knows exactly how team Pac picks their fights. They wait until their opponents look like shiat. Roach even admits this in interviews. Prior to the Oscar fight he said De la Hoya lost a step and that's why they are fighting him. He told Mosely he was too good to face Manny (even at a CW at something absurd like 142) and they only fought him after he looked like trash against Mora.
They won't consider fighting May until they see a serious decline in his skills, and regardless what Roach is saying now, it's obviously not true and he doesn't really believe it. I don't ever see Mayweather looking bad enough to entice Team Pac to sign the fight, so It will probably never happen.

floyd, floyd sr and roger say pac is easy money easy work, no skill, why wont floyd fight pac then? i dont know but i think saying a guy have no skill, easy work easy money is saying a lot more than saying a guy is slowing down and is more hittable now.
i admit i haven't been following this thing with a fine tooth comb like some, but i remember reading initially that pac wanted a x amount of dollars for every lb. fmj came in over the weight limit, fmj agreed...fmj wanted ost, manny refused...so if the pac camp is moving on, why talk about fmj at this point...

I doubt if Pac-May will ever happen, but I have come across a rumour that Pac-Bradley might happen in the not too distant future
ok thats a decent fight, but it isn't pac/fmj...
