its not the bradley hate, its how top rank works, bob arum has no intention of ever making the fight with mayweather... its the same pattern... -the first time bob arum said they were trying to make the mayweather fight, margarito was already going aorund saying he was promised the pacquiao fight (fact) -the second time, mosley was already going around saying he was going to fight pacquiao -the third time, one week before the mosley fight, marquez is offered the next pacquiao fight -and now, everyone knows bradley is next... same song and dance.... it will happen but these ppl are clever and they know the longer a massive fight like this brews the more cash will flood in when it dose, every fan on the planet is now gagging for this fight, its all part of the game. But I will tell you one thing, Marquez vs Pac below 140 Marquez has a better shot at beating Pac than Bradley does at 147. At least Marquez has been in the ring with Pac for 24 rounds and knows him, that level of step up in competition for Bradley would be unreal. It's not below 140, though, that can't just be ignored. Bradley has only fought ONCE as a jww in the last two years. And it was against a crappy fighter in Alexander, a guy who got so scared of the division, that he ran off. And now he's fighting a 40 year old Casamayor? Ugly head butting midget should be ashamed of himself.

I don't think Antwone Smith is with Top Rank, is he? But, yea that would have actually been a solid fight. Maybe too risky though? Since Smith doesn't have name value but still not a total scrub...While Casamayor has name value but shot to pieces... I never even thought about a Bradley-Smith match up...That could have been interesting. I disagree it's a real threat for Pacquiao, he is a minor threat, but really he can't do anything better then Pac and I see it being a total whitewash by Pac and Bradleys first loss. I hope he fights Khan after Cass, but I don't see that happening, this is an undefeated black "african american, slick fighter" (add in any other cliches) being sacrificed to Pac. It's not a terrible fight for Pac, but let's not try and pretend it's a threat. JMM poses far more of a threat to Pac then Bradley ever will. Arum won't keep him inactive for a year as you suggest, he has just signed him and he already has a fight for November. It's a tuneup, at least for a few competitive rounds, and he'll likely have another one before he fights MannyP, if he does fight him.

He has lost before, and whilst it would be blow to his pride, he would do everything to try to have a return bout. It would likely be in the contract. And if he did lose, which is only a 50-50 chance, he'd make sure to have his style altered for the return to eliminate any weakness. He could never be "counted out", and would always keep trying.

I'm sorry, but as a huge supporter of Bradley, I cannot support this fight. It's a joke. This is the one thing I was worried about when I heard he was talking with Top Rank earlier this year. I knew they wouldn't match him very well... He should be fighting Mike Alvarado (the best choice IMO) or Humduckto Soto. Or at least respect the WBO and fight someone ranked by them, seeing how he's defended ONCE in the nearly two years... I really hope Casa is a place holder opponent. The dude damn near got his head taken off by a blown up, 3 divisions higher Guerrero in the first round before he started running. If this goes the distance, I'll lose a bit of respect for Timmy... Seriously, what has Casa done since losing to Marquez? The dude is beyond finished. Make Bradley-Alvarado for the WBO and the WBC Emeritus! :boxing: Yea Bradley-Alvarado would have been the shit...Perfect undercard fight and a great way to build up Bradley...But, then again could they have seen Alvarado as being to risky? The Casa fight sucks. It's not even worthy to being on the undercard of the PPV. But, Arum is not known for putting on stack cards...The Marg-Cotto II card looks like the exception to the rule.
