It's really overblown. Yeah he ducked Khan, but when you pass on fighting one guy to have a practically guaranteed fight with someone (a lot) better, and more famous, for more money, it's not exactly an unforgivable decision. And besides it's not as if the guy he "ducked" hasn't made similar boxing decisions in his career. He sure did make Maidana wait for his MANDATORY challenge, and we all know we'll never see a rematch. And yeah Casa his a really bad choice for an opponent (Even keeping it all in-house, they could of at least had Antwone Smith), but people shouldn't act as if that the only major name fight on the card that's an uncompetive mis-match.
bradley is a joke, he deserves all the abuse in the world
manny fighting this the ducking headbutter would be the biggest joke of a fight in the histroy of boxing
bradley needs to fight khan at 140lbs, simple.
Remember one thing..as long as pac is signed with arum we will never see him fight mayweather...I think pac would love to fight but arum has other plans..if he lets pac fight floyd and he loses..where does that leave bob arum?? who has he left?? he's got cotto and margarito but them together won't be able to pull the numbers pacquiao pulls.
list floyd's and pac's last 5-6 fights and see who fought the most in house fighters. cmon retard...
he signed up with arum??? is that the only way to get to duckqiao?? to get to pac you need to be a top ranks slave..
this is gonna be clottey vs duckqiao 2..
bradley is a lucky man...gonna get millions to make duckquaio look good :)
Arum is building too many folks at once. From Bradley to Alvarado to Benavidez to Gesta to good old Chavez Jr. He isnt risking anyones 0, believe that.
Arum is a 0 hugger, thats how he builds his brands. He sells his guys as unbeatable and gets them the matches that make them look that way. Once he finds out which fighters sell best to the general public, that fighter becomes the squeeky wheel that gets the grease that keeps the Top Rank train moving along.
Can you even remember the last time Top Rank pit two of their undefeated fighters against each other? Must have killed him inside to even have Marg fight Cotto.
its not the bradley hate, its how top rank works, bob arum has no intention of ever making the fight with mayweather... its the same pattern...
-the first time bob arum said they were trying to make the mayweather fight, margarito was already going aorund saying he was promised the pacquiao fight (fact)
-the second time, mosley was already going around saying he was going to fight pacquiao
-the third time, one week before the mosley fight, marquez is offered the next pacquiao fight
-and now, everyone knows bradley is next...
same song and dance....
it will happen but these ppl are clever and they know the longer a massive fight like this brews the more cash will flood in when it dose, every fan on the planet is now gagging for this fight, its all part of the game.
If it dont happen Arums got his ace up his sleeve by signing Bradley cos this lads going to be massive in time and Pac aint gona be around much longer so soon he wont care if he gets beaten especialy if his next big star dose the beating.
It's not below 140, though, that can't just be ignored.
And Alexander is not Bradley's best win, not even close. Witter, Holt, and Peterson are all better wins.
Wouldn't you at least like to see Bradley against Ortiz or Berto at WW before he gets in there with Pac? I mean the guy has had one fight at WW haha
Witter and holt, were washed up, past prime.
And who cares about head butt monkeys resume, he doesn't fight good opponents anymore.
40 year old Casamayor? Bradley is a coward and a fraud, he is a disgrace to boxing.
I mean given the weight of the Marquez vs Pac fight I somewhat agree with you. But I will tell you one thing, Marquez vs Pac below 140 Marquez has a better shot at beating Pac than Bradley does at 147. I mean we're talking about a guy who some think has beaten Pac twice, and another guy whose best career win is who? Devon Alexander? At least Marquez has been in the ring with Pac for 24 rounds and knows him, that level of step up in competition for Bradley would be unreal.

Bradley has only fought ONCE as a jww in the last two years. And it was against a crappy fighter in Alexander, a guy who got so scared of the division, that he ran off.
And now he's fighting a 40 year old Casamayor? Ugly head butting midget should be ashamed of himself.
I don't think Antwone Smith is with Top Rank, is he? But, yea that would have actually been a solid fight.
Maybe too risky though? Since Smith doesn't have name value but still not a total scrub...While Casamayor has name value but shot to pieces...
I never even thought about a Bradley-Smith match up...That could have been interesting.
Look some of the hate that Bradley gets is from the Khan crew and I think deservedly so...The rest of the hate that Bradley gets, has absolutely nothing to do with Bradley... It has to do with stupid ass Floyd fans vs Pac fans crap...Where they try to diminish the other guy future opponent.
I still have my doubts that Pac will even fight Bradley next...But, if he does, this would be a great 2012 start for Pac. He will fight a legit threat IMO. A dude that's on top of his game and very versatile. I wouldn't say it's a walk in the park for Pac. For sure his toughest test since Cotto...However, I wouldn't be shocked if Pac fought the winner of Marg-Cotto II next.
Please, you're vastly underestimating Bradley if you think Marquez is even close to as much a threat as Bradley.

Please attempt to make some sense of the bold, any sense at all. NSB needs a laugh.
Whats the point in giving Bradley stick, I think most of us knew this was going to be the situation a few months ago, that Bob would sign Bradley, keep him inactive for a year, throw him in with an easy fight, then feed him to Manny.
I disagree it's a real threat for Pacquiao, he is a minor threat, but really he can't do anything better then Pac and I see it being a total whitewash by Pac and Bradleys first loss.
I hope he fights Khan after Cass, but I don't see that happening, this is an undefeated black "african american, slick fighter" (add in any other cliches) being sacrificed to Pac. It's not a terrible fight for Pac, but let's not try and pretend it's a threat. JMM poses far more of a threat to Pac then Bradley ever will.

the thing with me is that Bradley STILL would have had a guaranteed pacquiao fight. . . so him not fighting khan shows LACK OF CONFIDENCE in his skills. . . I mean, if you were 100% confident of beating a guy, like you had been talking about for a year - WHY WOULD you turn down a possible 3-4 million dollar payday (after all UK revenue was calculated)? WHY NOT SNATCH that money up, and then sign with top rank, and have ALL THE MORE recognition going into the pacquiao fight? SHOWS HE IS SCARED! He wasn't 100% sure of being able to beat Khan. . .
Exactly.....

Arum won't keep him inactive for a year as you suggest, he has just signed him and he already has a fight for November. It's a tuneup, at least for a few competitive rounds, and he'll likely have another one before he fights MannyP, if he does fight him.

You sound as if you think that MannyP would be "finished" off he lost to Mayweather. I diagree with you. He has lost before, and whilst it would be blow to his pride, he would do everything to try to have a return bout. It would likely be in the contract. And if he did lose, which is only a 50-50 chance, he'd make sure to have his style altered for the return to eliminate any weakness. He could never be "counted out", and would always keep trying.

I'm sorry, but as a huge supporter of Bradley, I cannot support this fight. It's a joke. This is the one thing I was worried about when I heard he was talking with Top Rank earlier this year. I knew they wouldn't match him very well...
He should be fighting Mike Alvarado (the best choice IMO) or Humduckto Soto. Or at least respect the WBO and fight someone ranked by them, seeing how he's defended ONCE in the nearly two years...
I really hope Casa is a place holder opponent. The dude damn near got his head taken off by a blown up, 3 divisions higher Guerrero in the first round before he started running. If this goes the distance, I'll lose a bit of respect for Timmy...
Seriously, what has Casa done since losing to Marquez? The dude is beyond finished. Make Bradley-Alvarado for the WBO and the WBC Emeritus! :boxing:
Yea Bradley-Alvarado would have been the shit...Perfect undercard fight and a great way to build up Bradley...But, then again could they have seen Alvarado as being to risky?
The Casa fight sucks. It's not even worthy to being on the undercard of the PPV.
But, Arum is not known for putting on stack cards...The Marg-Cotto II card looks like the exception to the rule.
