Saw his chat on ESPN Spanish and that cocky POS is staring to piss me off. Dude keeps talking **** about Cotto trying to get a fight but I loved how one of the viewers told him that Cotto has been facing the best for a decade and that he was wrong I mean Cotto has faced guys like Pacquiao, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, Judah, Quintana, Torres, Malignaggi and Foreman. Why would he duck Martinez? I mean it has nothing to do with ducking it has to do with the fact that Martinez really has no fan base.
I'm tired of people bitching about Martinez trying to land big fights to make a living....
"hurr don't pick on Money May, Cotto, or tha Pacman!"
I just don't like how people claim Martinez is being ducked by everyone. No, he's trying to fight two welterweights, that's not a duck. I don't have a problem with calling out Chavez and Cotto, go ahead, but don't pretend no one wants to fight Martinez.
You'e tired of him punking Cotto in public. :lol1:
Cotto wants absolutely no part of Martinez. He knows he would end him.
oh sh!t that maravilla with lisa ann. though i doubt he could do much for her lol.
Sergio is trying to antagonize his way into a big payday. I can't blame the fellow, he's getting up there in age and he's arguably the 3rd best fighter in the world. The 2 fighters ahead of him are making ridiculous amounts of money and he feels he can beat them both. I too would be quite upset if I were him.
that's why he's fighting BARKER THE GOAT FARMER.
makes sense.
Martinez is such a fraud. He's a perfect example of why boxing is in the gutter today. That Darren "The Sheep Herder " Barker even has a chance to win the fight is all the evidence you need in order to see that Martinez is garbage. :lol1:
quick log-ins and log-outs bro.

what's cotto gonna do about it? fight him? :lol1:
dude's just trying to get a payday like any other fighter would. he can still make 154 too so it's possible.
Cotto was given those chances, nice. Honestly, there is a hidden gem in every weight class. Winky got 2 big wins and skyrocketed to teh p4p listing as well, no one cried then. So why the Sergio hate?
.
The Sergio hate is because deep down, they know that Maravilla would murk their favourite fighter.
I'm tired of Sergio's pathetic begging for a big fight too, but he has every right to call out and get a fight with Miguel Cotto. Especially if Sergio goes back down to 154 like he says he is.
On the real though;
Cotto isn't scared of anyonee, he's just being mindful of his career, his money, and making sure his family is set, so he won't have to come out of retirement in five or ten years and get hurt. Arum has been keeping him away from the really tough fights that have been offered on purpose, because he wants to see Cotto get the maximum amount of money (for both his and Cottos benefit) before he retires.
This is Arums gameplan, and while you can tell Cotto doesn't love it, he's trusting Arum and knows it's the best move for him.
that's the plan that all fighters have. that's what martinez is trying to do. that's why martinez hasn't bothered with pirog. anyone who tries to spin this against one fighter or another need to get them themselves a shrink.
this ain't rocky; these are real prize fighters.
Make no mistake, Cotto is ducking Martinez. Hes not big or good enough to compete with him, and he'd get his ass kicked. That's not to diminish his warrior spirit or the fact he has one of the toughest resumes in the sport.
