...would he after that be a more risky fighter? Floyd is scared of losing his undefeated record but if he lost the 0 back then could you imagine him not givin a fukk anymore and fighting guys like Cotto, Margarito, Pacman (without demanding OST) and to trust his skills and take some rists?
What do you guys think what would happened to Floyd after being defeated so early in his career back then?

well, I don't think anything would've happened...Arum would've made sure there was a rematch, and then we know what that outcome more than likely would've been (again). Floyd would've disputed the loss and still said he's undefeated...guaranteed, nothing would've changed. Maybe you would've created a thread saying, "What if floyd had (officially) won the Castillo fight: would he have faced fighters X, Y, and Z because he may have been more confident?"
For all we know, he could've been a helluva lot more cautious. But maybe you're on to something...I dunno, it's all hypothetical anyway.
try harder,man,try harder
Just answer the question.
How many of those titles in those divisions were won with random drug testing?
I just want to be clear that everything, was "fair".
Seriously, this is boxing, we wouldn't want anyone to have an unfair advantage,
would we?
How many random drug tests did he take to do all of that?
I'm only curious because I'd like to know if the playing field was, you know,
"fair".
try harder,man,try harder
42-0
7 time world champion
4 TIME lineal champion
ONLY UNDEFEATED FIGHTER TO WIN TITLES IN 5 DIFFERENT DIVISIONS
I'D SAY HIS CAREER HAS BEEN GREAT

He wouldn't have the 0, but I doubt it would have changed anything. He would have fought the rematch, won, and everything would have been the same after. Floyd was always motivated by money, the 0 didn't create that. Listen to the HBO crew during that first Castillo fight, they were talking about how all Floyd wanted to talk about was money and fame during pre-fight interviews.
He basically would have been in the same position after the Castillo rematch.
Of all the great fighters, very few retired undefeated and no one really cares about a loss or two at the tail end of a great fighter's career. Who gives a s*** that Ali lost to Holmes or that SRL lost to Comancho? A cloud often hangs over the legacy of fighters that do retire undefeated like Marciano, Calzaghe etc. How can you tell if you have reached your potential until you lose?
i dont know...go and ask the Money Boy ^^

good...i expected that kind of feedback...i also think so...in the end you can maybe say it was the worst thing that could happened in Floyds career...
Would've been better for the sport, he wouldn't be guarding that 0 like a nun guarding her virginity. Might've fought Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Pacquiao, etc.
But now as it stands...
“I had this conversation years ago with Floyd,” former HBO Sports president Seth Abraham recalled. “It wasn’t even about Pacquiao, it was something else. Mayweather believes that at the end of his career, if there is still a zero at the end of his record, he will be one of the five greatest fighters of all time. That, to him, is more important than $30, $40, $50 million to fight Pacquiao. In reality, if he beat Pacquiao, he would be in the conversation about the greatest of all time. Without Pacquiao, he’s not in that conversation. Floyd doesn’t see it that way.”
