I went to Diaz-Malignaggi II card in Chicago 2009 and the Alexander-Matthysse card in St Louis a few months ago. Since I live in Illinois I hardly get chances to go to fights since they are almost always in Vegas, New York or LA. If you have been to some fight card before name them here.
They seem to have a lot of smaller pro fights in Chicago, I think I might start going up to them a couple times a year if no other fights come around here.
Yup now I'm also going to cotto marg II
The foreman fight was so fukking loud, this fight will be unreal!
I was going to ask you if you were planning on going to that. You know that will be a great one.
Calzaghe and Hatton were two of my favorites when they were fighting, that would have been great to be at those fights.[/QUOTE
wasnt really a fan of either but my older brother was going to watch calzaghe kessler in cardiff n my mom got me a ticket cause she new i liked boxing but had never watched one live. after i enjoyed tht fight my brother paid 4 me 2 go vegas (with him and a few others) 4 my 18th instead of going to watch real madrid barca at the bernabeu after tht i became a fan of both
Good stuff. Small pro shows would be cool, and since you live in NY you know another big fight will come through there before too long.

Cotto vs. SSM, Gatti vs.Ward and Mayweather vs. Ortiz. Atmosphere is awsome, everyone is yelling and all pumped up, you get all into it and really enjoy it.
Lucky you, those were both great fights!
nah, i live 20 mins north of NYC, but i do go to vegas 3-4 times a year.
Plenty of good fights in NYC too. I really only go to fights if they are in Chicago, St Louis or Indianapolis since I live in the middle of all of them. Too bad I wasn't into boxing in the early 2000's cause my friend got to see Mosley-Forrest II in Indianapolis.

Hell of a good birthday present. Sucks it had to end the way it did though
Cotto Clotey,Willams Martinez 1, Karl dargan some random guy,Cotto foreman, Judah Matysse, Mayweather Ortiz.
going to Martinez barker this weekend, and Cotto Margarito 2
Damn you seen a bunch of good one. You live in or around Vegas?
calzaghe-kessler, mayweather-hatton, calzaghe-hopkins, hatton-lazcano, calzaghe-jones and mayweather-mosley.

2 big fights were cotto-foreman and Dzinzurik- Martinez
But I also go to small pro shows around NyC all the time

I've been pretty lucky to go to some decently big fights. Recently I've gone to Cotto V Margartio, Cotto V Foreman, Alexander V Bradley, Dirrell V Abraham, and Mayweather V Augustus. Now that I have some money I try to go to at least one big fight a year. Bradley V Alexander was a short drive so I plan on making it out for Cotto V Margarito 2.[/QUOTE
Cotto vs Margarito.......you lucky bastard lol

Just went to my first pro fight last month, it was Monty Meza-Clay vs. Carlos Rivera in Pittsburgh. Not a great opponent for Monty, but the venue was crazy nice it was outside with seating on 3 sides of the ring and the river on the other. Some other local guys fought too, Roy Jones Jr. promoted it though so I got to get a pic with him and an autograph at the weigh ins.
That's bad ass. If I would have got ringside tickets for the Alexander fight I could have got a pic with Roy.
