Maybe because he folded against a much lesser fighter in Maidana. He drew with a guy in Peterson who can't crack and egg and is at best on par with Cotto in terms of skill. Ortiz is a good exciting fighter, but he can't touch either Cotto or Marg. I think you're still living in 2008, when Cotto and Margarito were both welterweight monsters. Both these guys have seen their best days and have been in way too many wars at this point. I at least give Cotto a better shot at beating Ortiz, actually that would be a great fight, I don't see Margarito ever beating anybody worth a damn in the future.

I wanted Cotto to stay ar 147 and beat these guys pretty bad because I knew they were overrated. Neither Ortiz or Berto have even close to the skill of Cotto to me. Both are more physically talented, but lack any sort of true boxing instincts to me.
