he had the greatest excuse as to why he wouldn't fight margarito when asked
"we're not fighting to prove who the best is"
"what about the fans? i dont care about the fans, the fans dont pay my bills"
I don't care that you are dissing Floyd. The chick in your avatar is ridiculous! Who is she? Green K, by the way.

I'd be terrified too if some guy with bricks was coming my way.
Mayweather knocks Cheato out in 8 rounds.
Mayweather knock everybody out in fantasy fights LOL.
I know Mayweather probably would have won, but Margarito would have been a nightmare for Floyd in 2006. That should have been a tremendous fight.
Fixed it for ya.
Your an idiot if you think Floyd KO's this guy.
Regardless of what people think about Margarito the dude is dangerous & just keeps coming forward. It definitely would have been one of Floyd's toughest fights had he taken it on. Who knows, if Marg beats Cotto then we might get that match but I doubt it.
Thats what they all say
For some reason yall lames just dont get it. Its amazing
Long time Floyd fan, but I really wish he would've faced Margarito back when it mattered. I think that would've been the hardest fight of his career. And while I in no way believe he was scared, I think he also realized that was going to be a difficult task. It is what it is though.
That slow bum wouldn't last 8 rounds with Floyd
Floyd's fought just about every mexican with a major name besides margarito.I don't think margarito would of won but he would of made mayweather somewhat damaged goods.Floyd took the 2for1 duck special with cotto and margarito.Ppl emphasize too much on the CURRENT stage of a fighter not theyre past prime.
It would of been hillarious to see mayweather get KTFOOOUUUTTT by bricks.

Al Haymon don't play that risky business sh*t...
Al Haymon Allowed Mayweather to Duck Margarito
It is common knowledge in inner boxing circles that Floyd Mayweather ducked Antonio Margarito in 2006 but that fact has been somewhat covered up with smokescreens, primarily about how Floyd wanted to concentrate on the much more lucrative payday with Oscar De La Hoya.
But recently I was able to obtain information from a reliable boxing insider who informed me that Mayweather’s advisor Al Haymon was also a key figure behind the smart business decision for Floyd to duck, dodge and avoid Antonio Margarito.
“I spoke with Al Haymon about Floyd over two years ago,” stated the source. “He personally told me he would have never fought Margarito because he was too big and strong and just keeps coming.”
The source added another one-liner, which rather appropriately sums up Team Mayweather. “Al Haymon picks his fights very carefully.”

It's just matchmaking. Haymon was not interested in seeing Floyd in the ring with a huge, strong, boundless stamina, iron jaw and relentless pressure fighter. Smart business decision.
But now Floyd'll tell you the reason he ducked Margarito was because he's psychic and he knew Tony was putting bricks into his gloves :lol1:
he didn't know who he was. lol thats why he was looking like that. If he was scared he would have called his bodyguards over or whatever.
Na Floyd knows who AM was. Floyd can beat Pacquiao and be one of the greatest of all-time but Floyd ducked Margarito for a 2 year span. Floyd wanted no parts of that man.

just like when everyone was saying that he was scared & shook when he was face to face with Mosley after the JMM fight. The same Mosley that decapitated a prime Margarito who tried to cheat & intentionally injurie guys but we all saw what happened to Mosley
