It all depends if he wins and if it an impressive win. Squeeking by Margo or getting a so so decision wouldn't be enough. Margo's body is broken down over the years and as of late he shows it on his face and he gets hurt alot more to the body now

the Winner of Cotto-Margarito will be opening for themselves opportunities for bigger money fights, IMHO cotto-margarito vs floyd would be a very good seller...

If cotto beats margarito that means he has beaten every oppenent he has faced except for p4p champ pacquiao. He would have beaten margarito, mosley, clottey, mayorga, judah and many more former champs. From the way his fight is selling for margarito and how his fight with pacquiao was pacquiao biggest ppv buys 1.25 (i dont trust showtimes of 1.3 for mosley). Does he deserve a fight with one of the big three floyd, pacman or martinez. I think he would lose all three but I think he deserves a major pay check to go into retirement. I would love to see a floyd for cotto match as someone that has beaten everyone they faced except pacquiao can not be called washed up. This all means nothing and cotto should retire if he loses to margarito again. He deserves the fight that makes him the most money,which I believe would be floyd or manny. Martinez would be the better fight in terms of stature (MW title).
