I'm working on a number of stories and am on deadline for the paper so I can't finish this one just yet, but I have a video and story coming from Victor Conte where he talks about steroids and PEDs in boxing.
He talks about the percentage of top fighters he thinks are taking steroids, and speaks about his suspicions on Pacquiao and Mayweather.
Is the anticipation killing you yet?
Irrelevant...I can't remember what his weight was the nite of the Marquez fight...but when he fought Diaz 3 months later he was already 147 lbs by the nite of that fight and was probably close to that for Marquez as well.
didnt pac fight hatton at 140?
and like others said, i wouldnt give conte all the credibility in the world - but it does kind of put into perspective the notion that olympic "style" testing as its currently implemented in boxing is useless
you'd have to be completely retarded to think floyd is on roids, he is obviously slower and more easy to hit then he once was. wouldn't make sense for him to ask for better testing if he himself benefits from peds. **** would be to stupid to ask for better testing to cover up that he might be dirty. usada is under wada a world organization. how would floyd buy them off. If floyd was on peds he benefit from them more than manny. he already has great reflexes add peds and you have a ****ing monster.
Well a lot of people say he stays in the gym year around. That's how he's always in great shape. Could it be possible for him to be on something and cycle off when a fight is signed?
Whoever said that there is more junk on the market than just steroids had it right. Conte probably watched a few Tours de France and heard "EPO" and started buzz-wording it. Nice touch with, "hypoxic training," too. Point is, his arguments about guys moving up in weight classes doesn't hold any water, if you'll pardon the pun. I have buddies that were "in shape" from playing prep sports like soccer or track, but then decided to hit the gym or jump on the UFC craze, and all of a sudden they jumped up about 15 pounds and look like those douchebags that freckle the beach. Their steroids? Chicken and salad.
Saying it's unnatural to jump up in weight over a 4 or 5 year period is like saying, "that guy who lost 25 pounds in a year HAD to be taking ephedrine." It just doesn't work that way. There are more than one "PED" out there. Are Pac and Floyd on them? Maybe. But if they are not explicitly illegal, it's not breaking the rules. The Ortiz fight illustrates a similar point.
So far the only "smoking gun" proof that Manny might be on steroids is Teddy Atlas's claim about the Pac camp questioning about a penalty of a positive test
Why would a clean athlete ask about a penalty?
A friend of a friend of a friend allegedly has this mysterious, now legendary email.
So far, Teddy "E-Mail" Atlas hasnt been able to produce the email. How come?
That would have been damning evidence IMO... at least circumstantial
you'd have to be completely retarded to think floyd is on roids, he is obviously slower and more easy to hit then he once was. wouldn't make sense for him to ask for better testing if he himself benefits from peds. **** would be to stupid to ask for better testing to cover up that he might be dirty. usada is under wada a world organization. how would floyd buy them off. Floyd didnt even make 147 and yea he's on steroids
USADA is protecting him too :lol1:
U will never know floyd will do everything just to gain an advantage against his opponent, he's not ashamed to cheat jmm in the weigh in who's already been too small compared to him.
If anyone is one roids between Pac and floyd its 100% more likely to be floyd. Floyd hangs out with roided bodyguards everyday and 50 aka gorilla roid and can get the hook up 24/7. He takes years off at a time where he doesn't have to give any kind of drug test. He is a known xylocaine user and if hes willing to inject a synthetic chemical into his fists that is banned in 49 states before every fight then its obvious he would take other PED to help him train.
Pac has none of those issues.
100% agree and floyd has all the signs of roid rage.
ok well
Manny going from the Marquez SD @ 130 to the De La Hoya KO @ 147 was 2 fights less than 9 months apart.
Keep in mind that 3 out of the last 5 fights at 130 for Pacquiao were dec, which included a natural 122 pound fighter. Morales was weight drained and shot so he quit, and Solis actually rated out Gamboa's power as greater compared to Manny. When he made the jump, he stopped four straight larger guys with better than average chins in the game. That's why some are arguably suspicious of his rapid success above 130, because the way it happen doesn't seem as natural as you would perceive it to be.
Well if people keep diminishing the value and danger in the opponent at the time that Pac fought then, then why couldn't it be perceived natural?
And, even if Pac fought those fighters and they're perceived as great. What Pac has done it's not unprecedented.
Floyd will do everything just to win, he cheat from jmm fight, the referee help in hatton, he sucker punch ortiz who is just a c level and i will not be surprised that he was on peds.
I knew it floyd is on some **** the way he take a vacation after the fight, he's taking those peds while on vacation on where those peds works effectively and then stop doing it 2 months before his fight.
Floyd has the sign of roid rage, i'm sorry flomos it seems like floyd is the one who's gonna expose for being a ped user. :lol1:
Professional Sports + Millions of Dollars + Fame + Ego and people still struggle to consider top athletes could be cheating.
I think it would blow everyones minds if we found out all the cheats in all the different sports who are using PED's. I think it would take what we once thought and pretty much destroy our image of a lot of athletes and sports and what is achievable naturally.
Floyd going from the Chavez TKO @ 130 to the Hatton TKO @ 147 was 10 fights and six years apart.
Manny going from the Marquez SD @ 130 to the Hatton KO @ 147 was 3 fights less than 14 months apart.
which one seems more natural?
Pac fought Hatton was at 140, not 147.
Both seem natural.
lol 90% of professional atheltes take something.. Its not always "Steroids" because for that it has to be a steroidal compound.
But some kind of PED YES even most top amateurs of almost everysport
May and Pac should stop being such faggs and fight each other for christsake.
