On Saturday WBC featherweight world champion Jhonny Gonzalez went with his wife and three children to celebrate his 30th birthday, 50th win and his victory in El Paso over Rogers Mtagwa, and when he returned to his home he discovered it had been ransacked and a new vehicle was stolen. “It’s disappointing,” said Gonzalez. “Everything was stolen. Computers, televisions, jewelry and my white 2012 Jeep Compass…they stole like $50,000, but in the end everything is material and my family is OK and that’s what’s important.”

I assume he lives in Mexico. Things down there are rough right now. The American way of over-valuating material possessions will get you killed. People forget that money and oxygen are a lot alike and trying to hold on to either for too long isn't healthy.
