how many times have we seen NFL quarterbacks (Payton Manning) try to catch their opponent not ready and hike the ball...once that referee spots the ball and signals to start the clock its fair play...so when I hear people say it was a cheap shot or on sportsman like...do you not feel the same way when a quarterback hikes the ball when their opponents not ready...how many times have you watched a basketball game and the defender turns his head or looks away and the man with the ball takes advantage of it...how about when in baseball the pitcher not paying attention and the runner takes off...hmmm...protect yourself at all times!
what really sucks is that I paid $60 for the fight and floyd; always bragging about ppv buys and now i feel cheated and floyd you b*tch, You're making millions and you aint' paying my cable bill so the least i expect is for you to stay under control and whoop that ass but instead you chose to resort to the thug way and that's exactly why you are rich but never will be wealthy because for one, the way you are as a person, a disrespectful and ugly human being and two, for the way you worship money, make the money, but don't let the money make you, you ignorant bastard i hope pac knocks you in to retirement but i really doubt it because you are a great all around fighter but a poor excuse for a human being, just like when they put pitbulls to fight is the way you act, at this height of your carrer you should have grown up and know you cant change the world let alone how people want to perceive you but the older and more money you make the stupider you become and its down right embarassing. the way you spoke to your father, forget that it was televised. when your father is gone, then what? you probably don't care anyway, you said it, you're ok with or without him in your life. if you dont wake up, you will end up rich and alone and maybe even end up broke after all, remember you're a black man in this country and the black men that struggled and made it possible for you to live the life you do now did not have this kind of life in mind, now humble down, forget any tests and go get pac, cuz i know u can beat him
The ref said time but he never said time in and was looking away.....it was a sucker punch becaause mayweather pretended to embrace and proceeded to sucker punch him. The clock was still stopped when it all went down so how is that even legal?
I cannot see how any mayweather fan be proud of that "win". He is the scum of the sport and only ghetto monkeys like him will support this classless behavior, I'm beginning to think that 90% of NSB posters are either n1gg3rs or w1gg3rs.
u know what's worse, that ortiz took it like he was glad it was over and his corner didn't even have his back, remember when golota fouled bowe repeatedly? his corner got in there and protected their fighter, ortiz corner was content as was ortiz, cortez was looking away, no comments were made in regards to filing a protest, and all this happens when prior to the fight i questioned why take such a risky fight when pac and million$ are looming and sopeke of the corruption in boxing and said that floyd and pacs people would probably pay ortiz more than what he made to make it interesting yet lose, you never know but the last 30 seconds were really strange
lets reverse this! what if floyd got penalized for elbow use and after the point deduction ortiz was the one to sucker punch floyd, i don't see how cortez even begins to count rather he would probably disqualify ortiz
well its like this in the USA...I pay around $75 dollars a month for about 5 months to watch football on cabletv...so I pay a lot more to watch football than a Floyd fight or PPV event...a lot of people were mad about the finish but don't be mad at Floyd...be mad Ortiz...he started it and Floyd finished it...Ortiz broke the #1 rule in boxing "PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES"
I know its possible to hide behind "protect yourself at all times" and be in the right with this possible argument, but like all things in life, there is other things and emotions to factor in.
If Floyd only cares about money then he did the right thing. 12 minutes work for $25M banked.
If he cares about legacy, then that isn' the way to act, even if it is in the rules because it leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths.
I don't care that he spanked Ortiz like that, Ortiz is a midget mentally and was done by the 4th so the ending was coming, but he did end it like he did and it's clear to me that a lot of people didn't like the fact he took advantage of the situation (legally yes...morally it's deemed unsportsman like )
Tell Floyd to make sure he doesn't retire and to get all his negotiations with Pacman in the full glare of the public so we can see the bullsh1t for what it is when it all happens the next time they negotiate. OH and tell him to put Vargas in with Khan if he wants to see his prospect get GKTFO lol
I've been running through the fight and how it ended quite a bit. Your analogy is interesting, but i don't live in the USA, so can someone tell me, do you usually pay $70 to watch a football game?
If i'm honest, I don't blame Floyd for doing what he did. He is the experienced professional and Ortiz just wanted a way out, he was getting his ass beaten which is why he head butted because he was flat out of ideas. I though by the end of the second round and into the 3rd round his mind was wondering off the job and i said to a friend the fuker is looking for a way out of the fight.
The thing is, Floyd fights once a year, talks up such a big game, charges the paying public $70 and then delivers that as a result.
I can understand why people are unhappy. The ending didn't fit the build up and the lack of activity that Floyd enjoys between fights.
Floyd struggles when it comes to PR and fan love. He pretends he wants to be the bad guy and loves playing the role but you can tell he just wants love like Pacman gets. The problem is when you deliver that as a result to a fight, it's easy to understand why people want to see his ass get beaten by Pacman.
Pacman is the peoples champ and acts like one in the ring.

My analogy is this.
If a mutha****er breaks into your house when you are sleep, you wake up, grab your piece, and fire at him even why he's running back to the window he broke into. As he climbs out the window he catches 2 in the back.
Now one could argue there is no need to shoot a fleeing burgular. For me, since i got a wife and 2 kids, i'ma keep firing even while hes fleeing. WHy? Becasue once you cross the line there is no line anymore. Always remember that.
Vic crossed the line got what he deserved.

Dude, does Floyd pay you to post and defend him on the internet? Or does he let you chill with him?
Stop posting FFS, cant believe Floyd so low that he making his groupies defend him online.
you obviously have some built up emotions inside about Floyd...leave me out of them...this is America buddy...we ALL have freedom of speech that is provided by the men and women who have and currently serve this country...so you should thank me...:)
I can dig it...but I disagree with the cheap shot claims...you have to be a professional and Ortiz did not do his job...I think he was caught up in the moment and lost his train of thought...

For being the most expensive boxing ppv in history, the way the fight ended was horrible. Ortiz's flagrant headbutts, Joe Cotez's backwards officiating & Floyd's fair butt cheap suckerpunching. The mainevent was pathetic. Floyd was winning, Ortiz had a few moments, I would have like to see the fight finish normally not suspect.

I saw it as a cheap shot. But it was legal, but that doesn't make it some thing we want in boxing. That being said I am not a big fan of "hugging' it out after a foul. Ortiz got what was coming to him in a way but I don't feel like the whole exchange was good for boxing. The flagrant headbutt was worse because it was a foul.
a cheap shot or sucker punch is punching someone that doesnt know their in a fight...and yes Ortiz got what he had coming...do you remember the Zab Jubah fight? Zab punches Floyd below the belt than follows up with a punch behind the head...now thats a cheap shot...

Hey Ray Biggs, Sheep, why dont you reply to me?
Why dont you tell people you associated with Mayweather?
If you continue being a sheep for him im trolling your boss @ the small little "firm" that you work for.
did you call my boss yet at the small firm and get me fired? lmao
haha...is that what you do...thats why your here...I'm just pointing out the truth...I'm not bashing any fighter...your the one on here calling people names...why you mad? Did I disrepect you or offend you?
No because you are biased and clearly affiliated with Floyd.
Its like BuBoy coming here to make topics about Pactard.
ps: give us an inside scoop, why is Floyd hanging around with a homo in Ellerbe? is Floyd gay also?
Guys, the TS is Ray Bigs (aka Raymond Biggs). He is associated with the Mayweathers.
I traced down 2 of his IP's. One IP came from Las Vegas and another came from Michigan.
His internet history here and other places shows he only defends Floyd and nothing else.
This is a paid sheep paid for by Fraud Duckweather aka Ellerbe's homosexual lover.
Tell Ellerbe to come out of the closet already you twat.
Why did you make a new thread? Mad I posted all your info in the other?
Now dont make me call your work and speak to your boss, he looks like a nerd, He wouldnt like it what I will have to say about my "friend"
Preview: it will be racist tirades against crackers, then u can kiss your job goodbye

head butting and punching behind the head is dirty and not honorable...punching your opponent in a fight is doing what your suppose to do...whats not honorable is a man not doing his job, not following the number 1 rule in boxing...protect yourself at all times...its on Ortiz not Floyd...

Everyone agrees that it was legal but like someone said it was dirty and not honorable. Floyd is what he is but there is no honor in what he did and I would never teach one of my kids to do such a thing. But these days honor and respect no longer matters. It's all about getting one over your fellow man whenever possible and that's why we are where we are today. It's sad that people don't see anything wrong with that. Very sad.
