No, that would be worse than that trash that's called Pac-JMM III. And, we know how garbage that fight is. And, Floyd-Ortiz II would be worse than that.
Paid $75 for it and I wouldn't mind paying it again for a rematch. Ortiz got cheated and it's not even about that either... it was an entertaining and intriguing fight while it lasted. Ortiz was gaining momentum in the 4th and he started catching Mayweather with more shots.
yeah I dont know why the hell Ortiz was doing that I was cursing at the TV
was the guy really trying to box Mayweather
That's who Ortiz is though. He was only able to fight aggressively against Berto because Berto sucks. Floyd will push him back and kick his ass every time.
No, Ortiz really got under my skin with those tactics. I hate headbutters and I have zero tolerance for them, hence why I've never liked Holyfield or Hopkins.
Add Ortiz to the list. I have zero tolerance for guys who cheat, and obviously so does Floyd Mayweather.
I hope Ortiz doesn't get another big fight, he needs to work his way back up. I'd watch him fight Berto again though.
Yet you have Tyson in you sig and avatar. Wtf!
Like I said, if Floyd is able to push Ortiz back, that fight is already in the bag because Ortiz can't fight going backwards. Maybe that poor boxing ability works against a past his prime Campbell, surly not against Floyd.

I feel like I spent money on an incomplete fight, can't see myself doubling up just to get the 2nd half...disappointed....although I REALLY WOULD like to see it finish appropriately (with a different ref, no headbutts and Ortiz can wear Reyes gloves) I would probably have to stream the rematch....certain things could factor in to change my mind (for a fight later in the future), like Ortiz gaining in experience. He's 24, and has time to mature some more and learn from his mistakes. I genuinely like the kid, I hated the headbutt but I know it's not him or I'd like to imagine it's really not...it's a hard one to explain, I just hope he grows from it and gives us years of entertainment. :boxing:

Agreed, I was waiting for someone to say this. I told my wife the fight was over after round 3!
i also am now quite certain that Manny can't beat Floyd. There's just no way.
After the fight floydie said he is willing to give rematch, then he changed his mind during presscon, he didn't say anything about his next fight!
If there is going to be Part 2, I will not watch, no need...
I haven't personally paid for a ppv since Trinidad vs Vargas...a friend always gets them and we pile up, BBQ n drink.
With that said...NO I wouldn't pay unless my friend wasn't getting it...Ortiz showed that he's nowhere close to Floyd's level, he didn't land one meaningful punch. Floyd walked down the bigger fighter and frustrated him and it was only the early rounds.
What exactly can Ortiz do differently???...actaully land a punch??? LOL
Lets move on...hope Ortiz gets a Bradley, Khan, Maidana 2, or even a Alexander fight!!!
I thought Floyd should've fought someone else in the first place.
But after Mayweather saw Berto vs Ortiz he figure Ortiz was already soften and wouldn't take much punishment in another fight before getting knocked out. Ortiz was almost knocked out vs Berto and even though you can't see it a fighter is never the same after that especially when they fight big fights to consistantly. To many knock downs keep taking a toll on your brain. Berto who lost would 've knocked him this time around the same way Martinez fight was easier the second time vs Paul Williams. P. Williams was also soften up by the first fight.
wouldn't Berto also be softened up by your logic?

No not really. Ortiz had his moments, and you never know in this sport what "could've happened". I said from day 1, this was a nothing more than a tune up, and Victor was NEVER a threat, but like i said....you never know in this sport.
