Roy Jones should of been there, not Merchant

I don't see what Merchant did wrong last night. He was asking the questions boxing fans wanted answered.

RJJ, Lampley and Steward would be HBO's A-team IMO. I know they don't have two experts in their, but this is what I would've preferred. Max could do the interviews.

Steward is incompetent. He reminds me of the average ignorant boxing fan who just changes his opinion every 30 seconds depending on whats going on in the ring. RJJ is the best expert commentator HBO has ever had and should be there permanently. totaly agree. steward should be replaced by jones.

Medved, he stuttered a word. No one gives better insight during a fight than Roy Jones Jr. I've been watching boxing since the early 90's. I agree, but dont forget this is the main PPV HBO has done. Do they really wanna risk RJJ start stuttering and freezing? I love RJJ to death and love when he commentates but dont forget who the end users are. and BostonGuy, its the sad truth :( I wouldve been happy if he retired and stuck to commentating, every time he gets KO'd he loses brain cells, its science. Find a copy of a HBO telecast from one of RJJ's earlier casts and the most recent ones, u can see the progression of his speech. Its very sad :( he belongs on HBO/ HBO WCB / HBO B.A.D / HBO Small PPV (Dawson - Hopkins). But for an event like this? I dont know man I like the team with Steward, Larry, Jim

of all the commentators they had merchant to interview floyd? its almost like they wanted piss him off

RJJ cant even speak english half the time, he got so much brain damage that he stutters every 5 words Jones had brain freeze in that instance. That happens when you're under pressure with a camera in front of you. Moreover, I wouldn't criticize the guy for having brain damage or other neurological disorder related to prize fighting. After all, you're a fan of boxing and you enjoy watching guys get punches and knocked out. Now your gonna criticize a man because of that? Not good Medved...:no:

Roy Jones should replace Merchant and Stewart, all they ever do is argue amongst eachother while a guy like Jones knows what he is talking about Lampley, Roy Jones, Max Kellerman <---this is who should of done the fight, HBO crew is getting too negative Insinuating that steward doesn't know what he's talking about, great. Fans are as divided as the back and forth bickering between eman and Larry/Jim. That's the purpose, to have opposites so commentary doesn't become too bias.
