who are these 22 people he knocked out????dumbass doesnt know sh1t about boxing...what elite fighters has berto stopped or even fought?
say whatever you wanna say
but a boxing record is a record and you can not change it!
It is official!
Period
Their might not be a big difference in power, id say its really close but jrosales summed it up very well. Floyd is accurate like no one else is with his punches
and he doesn't over extend on his punches so it's very hard to counter him back unlike Berto who can get really wide when he's trying to torque a hard shot
lmfao..freddy hernendez.........who??..floyds fighting elite fighters..and bertos fighting freddy hernendez
That's true. Harder to knock out the cream of the crop, I can't lie.
But we are talking power, not accuracy or competition.
Randall Bailey hits harder than both of them. That don't mean he whoops both of them though.
At WW Floyd is winning, he is tagging mofos all night and making them look silly. But he isnt scoring any KD's. I would say scoring KD's is a good measure of power and Berto is the one scoring KD's and KO's, not Money May.
Mayweathers power is in his accuracy.
Bertos power is more brute force.
That said, Berto scored 2 KD's against Ortiz and put Freddy Hernandez out with 1 punch.
Last KD Mayweather scored was against JMM and before that, I have to say the Hatton KO. Cant even remember that last KD before Hatton honestly.
Not sayin he doesnt hit hard but the proof is in the pudding, Who is scoring KD's more consistently? May or Berto? Gotta say Berto.

Berto has boxing record with higher KO percentage than Floydie:
Berto: 28 Wins (22 knockouts), 1 Loss, 0 Draws
Floydie: 41 Wins (25 knockouts, 16 decisions), 0 Losses, 0 Draws

When Floyd was 28-0, he had 20 KOs.
Come on, we are not talking about partial Record, we are talking about the CURRENT/PRESENT RECORD. we are in the Year 2011!
Does Floyd Mayweather hit harder than Andre Berto?

i think Mayweather has more power than ppl realise, he has knockout power but he is like a cat with a mouse, he like to play and toy with his victims, i could be wrong but i just dont think he goes for the knockout all the time he has more fun making good boxers look poor.
I think Berto power is overrated, while Floyd Jr power is underrated.
So overall I think Floyd power if he's not just as powerful as Berto then it's a tad bit less.
But, I think Floyd accuracy and precision makes his punches much more effective than Berto punches.
pretty good post, cant say much after that...
I really cannot believe some of the idiotic **** that comes out of people's keyboards here.
Close? No people it is NOT even close and I will tell you why if you knew jack about boxing.
Berto is a fighter that relies on his explosiveness rather than skills. Berto fully commits to his punches when he throws them, look at some of his fights. If he sees the opportunity he will fire that right with the intention to put your ass on the canvas.
Floyd does not, or at least has not done for a long time. He punches to score points and frustrate opponents. He does not commit himself to the knockout, if it comes.....it comes.
:lol1: you're an idiot. Obviously you don't comprehend. But, OK man.
Comprehend what? That Jro thinks Marquez & Forbes are the same size, when Forbes won at 154 but Marquez can't even compete at welterweight? Like I said, get serious. Anyway name calling is exactly what I expect from you whenever you don't win, get serious.
I'm going to bed now Jro, post last if you like, then act like you did something, but remember Forbes won & competed at 154, Marquez never won at 147 & cannot compete at 154, peace out till tomarrow.

Yes I got sonned, who did Forbes beat at 154 again?

No, you just picked a name & got sonned. Steve Forbes won fights at 154. So lasting 12 against a welterweight is pheasable. Marquez cannot compete at 154 so they are not the same size, period, get serious.
Yes I got sonned, who did Forbes beat at 154 again?
Can Forbes compete at 154? I mean did he really compete? Yes he fought there. But, it was quite clear that he didn't belong there.
Forbes also doesn't belong anywhere near 147.
And, the comparison was about size. Since you said Urango was a big JWW. Which Forbes is a small JWW. He's a blown up SFW ala JMM.
But, like I said, whatever man. Obviously you're too defensive to understand it.
