Does Mayweather set a good example for Black people and their culture in America?

This is a guy who is a known racist, and someone who beats women and children. He's had multiple instances of beating women, the mother of his own children, and well as beating his own children. Or the Floyd Mayweather foundation that is always giving food to the homeless, money to poor families, supports poverous neighborhoods, and supplies schools that have low funds...funny how you fail to mention that. There is a huge difference between the way Filipinos look at Pacquiao and the way African-Americans look at Mayweather. Nobody looks at Floyd Mayweather like he is some hero or role model. Filipinos look at Pacquiao like that because it is a country that has nothing, sucks at sports, and most of the people there have nothing. Philippines is a horribly impoverished third world country, that is why so many men leave the country to work in better places and why so many women will marry anyone to get out of there. There are at least 100 better known athletes than Mayweather here. All Philippines has is Pacquiao. Adam Carolla nailed it in his controversial commentary. You can't compare the two because there is nothing similar. No retard, noone looks at Mayweather like a role model because he is an @sshole, plain and simple. You think if Pac acted like Mayweather he'd still be idolized??? And, do you think only Filipinos think he is a role model? There are many gifted athletes that are hated due to their conduct off the field like Ty Cobb, OJ Simpson, Terrel Owens, as well as Mayweather Jr.. These athletes although considered great in what they do, their misbehavior, oversized egos, and misconduct in everyday life overshadow their accomplishments in sports. In contrast, athletes like Wayne Gretzsky, Roger Federer, Pele, Barry Sanders, as well as Pacquiao are idolized on and off the field due to their good character and humility despite their obvious talents.

Floyd has a foundation for children that he funds with his own money. He also has a boxing club for youth here in MI over in Grand Rapids. He takes care of all of his children, including assuring that their finances are taken care of and college is paid for already. His skirmishes in the street are on video and it is clear that he is being provoked by people who wish to sue him and get rich quick. His ex wife didn't look like a woman who was abused and did not have so much as a red mark to show for anything she claimed. Mayweather does a lot of work with children and has helped to clean up boxing and make the sport safer by starting the trend of taking full random blood testing up to a fight, so we know he is not a dirty steroid abuser. He is also a pretty smart business man who has made massive amounts of money by himself in a sport in which you are usually controlled by a promoter who takes most of your money and decides whether or not you will be successful. He is not as bad of an example as Pacquiao is, that's for sure. Pacquiao is also a well known alcoholic. Floyd is known for his hard work ethic, his ability to stay in shape inbetween fights, and for not drinking or using drugs. You must be joking.

I really don't think sub-Saharan Africans spam websites all day talking about how awesome their country is...furthermore, the TS (obviously Pinoy) started a thread about how Mayweather is a bad role model for African Americans. I responded that nobody actually views him as a role model in America.
