Pacquiao is one of the most boring people I've ever seen in an interview, or in total episodes of 24/7, but he can get away with it becuz of his exciting in-ring style... Now, take a guy like Devon Alexander, boring in-ring, boring out-ring (needs his trainer to give his interviews any kind of finesse).... Look where he is right now... Floyd, a technical fighter never an all-action guy- similar to Hopkins and Whitaker- walks and talks without a script in front of him laid out by a great PR firm. Just like Bernard, except one has parlayed it into $40MM and the other gets $5MM. Naturally, people hate the guy that gets 40, but like some cruel practical joke they are the ones that keep him relevant and in the position to make that kind of money. So Floyd can make 40 mil, and then what? He loses it. Bernard on the other hand, takes his 5, and flips it, without the IRS putting liens on him, or getting sued for various acts. Nobody hates Floyd for making money. People dislike him because he portrays himself as an azzhole. He sold out, but this is what riddles me.
