i cringed too... i mean, the guys are on the front lines sacrificing their lives for douches like floyd... and floyd rubs it in their faces...
it was a VERY bad moment. i mean the complete ignorance of his bragging was incredible... he was completely OBLIVIOUS. its one thing to brag, but he took the time to WALK around his 22,000 sq/ft mansion RUBBING IT IN.
if i was a soldier in that conference call, i wouldve walked out and had a cig... call me back when the BS is done. LOL.
It was very disrespectful. Ortiz being classy in the episodes is the only saving grace of this 24/7/
not floyds fault.. he said he they choose what to show.
but HONESTLY, what other content would floyd want to show??? more sing-alongs with d-list R&B singers??? showing off the loooong list of black "celebs" that want to be on HBO????
more Ray J, FLO RIDA, 50 Cent, etc????
no thanks... im good.
how about floyd shows us REAL content.... like SPARRING.
i cringed when Floyd started showing off his properties to the troops. Is he an idiot or he is just that arrogant?
I'm sure the troops were not interested in his properties.

i think they are running out of material to show after being on the show countless time. Its worse for pac. The shows dont pump me up like the first ones.
I agree. I've not seen all the shows but it doesn't get me excited in the same way the Hatton/Mayweather one did for example.
i think because floyd have been in many 24/7 their are really nothing much more to see outside boxing, causing it to be boring, same dilema as pacquiao who is also a staple of 24/7....
imho, in thise case what they should do, is show more training, sparring and highlights of the "A" Side guy like mayweather and focus on the introduce the new guy like ortiz at the same time showing of highlight victories giving the casual fans a sense of intrigue that he might actually win....
I suppose only Floyd haters would find anything Floyd does boring. It's natural.
However if HBO ONLY showed scenes of just training and more training, it would veer away from the aim of the show: To appeal to boxing fans and non-boxing fans alike.
BTW, Money Mayweather is doing what his nickname implies. Flaunting the wealthy lifestyle that's part of his namesake.
It's not like the entire 24/7 series is only of Floyd flashing his cars and cash. Now THAT would be boring.
I only watched the first one and about ten minutes of the second one, that was enough for me. They really need to do something different with the format of the show, put more emphasis on the actual training and preparation for the fight, basically anything but the cheesy format they have currently.
well then we'd be complaining about how they show the same training techniques and how it would be interesting to see a little bit of the fighter lives
Floyd gave them **** about the editing, so they focused more on him on this episode and yes it was boring. You notice that Floyd had no comment on twitter.

I agree with this.
