Floyd is a Rich Kid, upper middle class, Insecure, an absolute Fraud

Like someone else mentioned......Floyd suffers from Michael Jackson syndrome. Both had no childhood and were pretty much forced by thier fathers to be succesfull at their craft from a very early age. Its an act but I do believe his persona is an over the top exxaggeration of his true personality.

When the thread starts off with the words "I'm not a troll" you can pretty much guarantee that whoever writ it is a straight up troll.

I'd say Andre Ward would be a good place to start if you wanted a boxing role model to look up to. If role models are what you seek in boxing then I would agree. The same could also be said of the Klitschko brothers.

Im not a troll, im a a boxing fan. Not a Pactard, although i will say that Pac is the exact opposite of Floyd. Floyd grew up in the suburbs. His uncle Jeff has said his whole persona is false. He was never hungry, never lacked for anything. I can see with his crazy father, why he might be a bit mentally unhinged. he never really had a childhood, and it ****ed him up, ala michael jackson. But even in his 30's, his behavior is that of a child. he's pedaling a lie, hence his insecurities. He's a fraud. im not saying that he isnt tough - he is, he gets hit in the face for a living - but he's not from the ghetto. He surrounds himself with people from harsher upbringings - but that doesnt make him ghetto. When i look at Floyd, i cringe. That is all. I find it very hard to judge or psychoanalyze people I know, let alone someone I have never met. I dont particularly like the way the guy tries to sell his fights, I find it downright corny and even cornier are his fans, who actually get taken in by all of that stuff. He is just another dude with his own faults and foibles, the difference is that he is a sports star who unlike other sports stars, footballers, golfers etc. has to sell his fights to a PPV audience in order to make the vast sums of money he craves. He seems to understand that he is more hated than loved and he can see the opportunity to make money on the strength of that. Class doesnt come into this for me because some of the most fukked up and disfunctional people I have met fall into what you might pigeon hole as upper middle class. Its true that in equal measure if you either love(flomo) or hate(haterz..lol) the guy then you are giving him what he needs and he can congratulate himself on a job well done.

I totally agree with the TS. This is why I'm not a Floyd fan, his personality is just ridiculous and he has really fallen into this "Godfather" persona. I mean that won't stop me from watching him fight, buying his PPVs and just admiring his amazing boxing skills, but his personality is just retarded. He is a child in a grown man's body. Floyd didn't grow up rich, wtf is wrong with you. Mother was on drugs, father was a drug dealer/trainer who was abusive and sold those drugs to his mother. SR wasn't rich, had a lil money maybe but far from rich. Stayed with his grandmother with 6-7 people. It wasn't easy at all growing up
