should not be allowed to compete after a certain age? of like 40?
I have just read Larry Donald is coming out of retirement. Now whilst he wasn't a bad fighter by any means & had one hell of a chin it's quite sad because the guy can probably beat most HW's out there, he'll crack say the top 10 & get a title shot and get annihilated & at that age you don't have the reflexes & just can not take a shot like you once could.
Watching Briggs, McCall, Holyfield etc carry on is just sad & it genuinely worries me. Like Vitali vs Briggs, that was sickening too watch. Fair play to Briggs, what a warrior/some might say incredibly stupid but you can not take shots like that over & over again.
That said Cedric Boswell is 43 next week but he still appears pretty fresh. He's a damn good fighter IMO, just a shame he hasn't been able to get the fights because I personally think he'd muller just about any HW except the Klitschkos & maybe Helenius.
Give Boswell a shot at Bermaine Stiverne, he'll destroy that bum, Tyson Fury & Deontay Wilder in the same night :D
As long as they are fit and healthy don't think it matters, Vitali is 40 after all and just look at Bernard Hopkins. Do think that boxers should have to have tests though, no one wants to see people fighting on when they are obviously punchy, if you have ever seen interviews with Meldrick Taylor late in his career you'll know what I mean.
