With a mixture of skill power and sheer size that has never been seen before maybe withe the exception of lewis i think they would dominate any era except for lewis's.
A lot is said about their limited opposition but this was the case for tyson marciano louis liston dempsey and other champs.
And if not who beats them and how ?
Wlads chin is questionable but vitali would stand up well head to head with any hw in history
Never said he was. That's quite a leap from "one of the most boring HW champs of all time" though.
He was boring. I'm not recanting that.
Pssh he had sparse slugfests against opponents he probably should have leveled but when it came to title defense/meaningful fights he was overly cautious and generally not pleasant to watch.

You're probably right about that.
But we both know he wasn't Joe Frazier in this regard.

Lennox is comparable to a more powerful slightly rawer version of the early Wlad, the one who was willing to go all out on opponents if he saw the opportunity. The Wlad of today is one of the most cautious champions I've ever seen. He almost never opens up. Lennox opened up on guys all the time. Threw way more combinations as well.

He had a bit more power than Wlad.
That's probably why he didn't appear as boring because of the 1 punch type ugly beatdowns. But they're so similar on many levels.
Except Lewis was a better body puncher ( his right cross to the body was the best punch he had) and his uppercutt was lethal.

He most certainly wasn't!

Maybe against Ray Mercer.
But Lewis was one of the most boring HW champs of all time. He used his jab and kept people at bay and then threw the right hand just like Wlad does. In fact both of them are probably equal in the clinch factor......they use that like it's life or death.

Erm, nope. The Klits are both great fighters, well Vitali anyway (you can't argue with what they have done) but they have also been very lucky the era they have boxed in.....and very lucky they got the 'big lanky streak of p*ss genes cause if the pair of them (particularly Wlad) had been around the 6 foot mark they would certainly not have dominated the way they have. (I'm not taking anything away from them btw, or bashing them, just stating facts).
That's not a fact, it's a supposition.
Nah, Lennox was a lot more willing to mix it up and fight in the trenches. Made him more vulnerable at times, but a more dangerous fighter overall. H2H he beats the stuffing out of Wlad. Tyson, quite possibly, though there's not as much to go on there.

They weren't really "beat", they just lost the decision according to the Rules of Boxing. And there were very extenuating circumstances.
Errm. Isn't that a pretty good description of a loss?
They couldnt and didnt dominate the early 2000's. Vitali and Wlad got beat in the same year by two different fighters. 1990-2004 was just too grueling an era for anyone to rule unless your Lennox Lewis.
Wlad's significantly changed his fighting style for the better. You can't really compare him then to now.
I think the way Wlad fights, it would be tough for any HW to beat him. And I'm referring to the best example of him....because I don't see how its easy to hunt down a guy his size who has exceptional foot and handspeed.....and is well schooled on how to avoid getting hit clean.
Lennox Lewis used to fight alot like him.........they use their size and just bore the hell out of everyone until their opponent has been beaten at range.
I mean you can claim a prime tyson demolishes him with no problem..........but FYI Tyson would run into a right hand or that huge jab and to be honest that's something he wouldn't shake off.

It is hard to say the best of a weak heavyweight division would dominate other era's. Maybe the era in which Floyd Patterson ruled til Liston and Ali came around.
Patterson was an astonishing fighter in his prime. He was not only the first Olympic (middleweight) champion to win the Heavyweight title, but was also the first to regain it, in Boxing History, where so many before him had failed. He had the fastest Heavyweight hands, and had amazing power for his size and weight. Was noted for his beautiful left hook.

no....
but they would make a good fight with any HW ATG IMO
i give them their respects but there are some HW's from other eras that would make them look human
but im talking about ATG's
the Klits will be remebered as very good and maybe even great
they need better competition but hey...
its not their fault

Vitali Klitschko = Primo Carnera with half the balls and toughness.
