No seriously, tell me what is with all you lot? You are so blinded with hatred towards the Klitschko's it's unbelievable.
I was reading a thread where every single person who answered said 'Jim Jeffries' would beat Vitali Klitschko. Most said by K.O
Hahaha!
Now I had heard of this Jeffries character but I decided to go check him out ''James J Jeffries''
Rather than rake through bundles of DVD's, videos etc I look online for speed....
So I scroll down & I see he is listed as ''6.0ft'' with a ''76 inch'' reach, I'm grinning already. I then see he fought around the Victoria era, now I roll my eyes & let out a sigh.
Then I see his ringname ''The boilermaker'' now the tears are streaming down my face.
I scroll down to find he had got KTFO by Jack Johnson. I see this is his last fight so I think ''maybe he was past his prime''
So I am scrolling down & see a familiar name ''Bob Fitsimmons'' Yano that stupidly overrated guy with the worlds largest receding hairline that fought about a hundred guys that had less than 10 fights, losing most of them & got knocked out about a dozen times by several unknown 160lbers. (Apparently this makes you a legend, but 1 loss today and everyone calls you a bum)
So I am on Youtube, watching him fight against Jack Johnson - ''Oh **** I remember this fight'' - I say. Yh that is the one where they are hugging and dancing for 15 rounds & he gets dropped heavily by a rabbit punch & starts crawling around the canvas almost acting like he was a dog.
You are all experts on here so could you perhaps tell me how a guy that literally throws 3 of the worlds most telegraphed punches the world has ever seen per round. A guy with NO speed what so ever, two left feet, that spends 3.00 of every round holding & dancing with his opponent could ever last a single round with Vitali?
No jab, no footwork, handspeed, lateral or head movement, no combinations, giving up 7" in height, Christ knows what in reach, arghh I can't be ****ed to go on. HATERS!
Have another donut, you disgustingly fat piece of sh*t.
Atta boy, keep tossing insults and avoiding challenges. You're the typical tough guy hiding behind people saying "Hold me back, I'm gonna kick his ass!" You're a joke, a nuthugger, and you have a little something dribbling down your chin from the Klits. :bukkake:
:lol1: at this retard.
Dude Vlad was knocked out by a nobody in Corrie Sanders and Vitali had his face ruined by a past prime Lennox. They are NOT unbeatable dude. Vlad better thank Emmanuel Steward everyday for his improvements!
Quit lying, Fat Joe. Come clean and admit that you're a Klitschko hater and you have zero objectivity about them. You even told Freedom you were going to stalk all Wladimir Klitschko threads just to bash him.
But you won't come clean, because your self-esteem is too tied up with being the "history moderator." If not for that, you're just a Krispy Kreme munching rent-a-cop at the mall.
I never said any such thing to anyone. I did however say that I would be in every thread to point out the facts and truths in which nuthuggers like yourself seem to ignore.
Still waiting for those links and a confirmation on the picture challenge. Whats the hold up?
You're either completely self-delusional or an outright liar.
I'm betting on the latter.
Do you need me to post links for you? And at the same time, when are you going to post these link of me saying I have a "vendetta" against the Klits?
You've even admitted you have a vendetta against the Klitschkos, so what are you on about?
You deserve scorn for posing as an "objective" boxing fan when it suits you, and then showing your true colors when you get angry, which is every time you think about the Klitschkos.
Just come clean and admit you're a hater, it will go better for you.
Yup, here's another lie with no link to back it up. What a sad little hero worshiper you are. I've said on many occasions that I respect the Klits as people and that either of them would contend if not be champions in ANY era. Of course when I criticize their comp or styles you want to make it into me hating them because you simply cannot deal with anyone questioning and pointing out the reality of your idols. It's rather pathetic to be honest.
lol at this delusional idiot.
Dempsey is ridiculously overrated. He refused to fight negroes.
The Klitschko Brothers are the negrocutioners.
Either Klitschko annihilates Dempsey.
Surely that makes him your kinda guy? :wt::*******:
You've "proven" nothing, except that your brain is malfunctioning due to excessive cholesterol intake.
Lol, do you want to bet Im in better shape than you? Lets post picture and we can have the forums vote. Don't get scared now! :scared:
Quit asking for "links" to things that are blatantly obvious, Fat Joe. The forum as whole is a just an anti-Klitschko, anti-Euro circle jerk.
You just like wasting people's time, with your calls for "debate" and "links" when all you want to hear are your own biased opinions spewed back at you.
No-one as biased as you should be the moderator of a history forum.
This is the problem with you and people like you. You like to spout off, but you refuse to back it up with anything factual. In other words you're just a nuthugging liar. :dunno:
The fighters the Klitschkos beat would still beat the crap out of most of your old bum champions from way back when. Cris Arreola, Eddie Chambers and Tony Thompson could beat the crap out of many past heavyweight champs. That is the truth. So if they are "crap opponents," what does that make your old heroes? Worse than crap.
Can you back any of this up with factual evidence? Because I've proven time and again that they don't have the same skillset, toughness or stamina.
The history forum is a joke because the moderators don't possess an ounce of objectivity and have decided to try and create an alternative boxing history that at best ignores and at worst denigrates the Klitschkos and other European heavyweights.
And you of course can provide at least one link to me doing this, right? The history section deals in facts. You and several other nuthuggers deal in fantasy perception and cannot come to grips with this era being amongst if not worst heavyweight era ever.
Oh boo hoo, somebody picked against a klitschko in a fantasy fight, its not the end of the world children, they arent unbeatable get over it you deluded nuthuggers
Its a good job you trolls stay in NSB spewing your rubbish rather than the history section-because you are f*cking idiots who truly know very little about the sport, and should probably stop acting like you do right now,too save further embarrassment
That's true, but in boxing, in my opinion, it has become a sickness that is actually killing the sport, at least in America. I don't see that as much in other sports. Baseball loves its past, but you don't have media people continually denigrating the current product in favor of the past. They use the past more to promote the present. But boxing uses the past to kill the present. It makes no sense at all. Keep telling people that what is happening now isn't worth watching, and eventually they believe you and tune out.
What you end up with, paradoxically, is the spectacle of boxing "fans" celebrating the death of their favorite sport.
Of course, some of this is caused by sour grapes because America no longer rules the world in the heavyweight division. Give America a dominating champ and suddenly boxing would be OK again, I'm sure.
That is true, but I think they'll get used to it overtime since there's no end in sight to the european domination in the HW division. Either that, or we'll keep hearing the HW division is dead for years to come :lol1:
Tomasz Adamek would beat most of those old guys, fer crissake. The tendency to overrate what came before and to underrate what is right in front of your eyes is a sickness in current boxing circles, and I'm not talking only about the Klitschkos, but boxing in general.
Part of the problem is the old guard in the current boxing media, the Bert Sugar types who want to convince everyone that their heroes are the only ones who count. Boxing fans seem very prone to listen to this propaganda. There is nothing wrong with honoring what came before, but when you use boxing history to continually negate the present, that is a sickness.
It's not in boxing, but in every sport in general (except in ones like track and field or swimming that have quantifiable results than can be compared over time). According to the old time fans of every sport, they are all at their weakest era ever and all the current sportsmen suck compared to the old ones, even though athletes are ever improving as quantifiable results prove, it's simply that old time fans are inmune to logic and reasoning.
Size alone doesn't mean punching power as Joe Louis,Rocky Marciano,Mike Tyson and others could tell you.
And yes they fought alot more often than fighters of today, had alot more fighting spirit and were alot more willing to exchange and take punishment,so yes they were alot tougher for the most part!
Many older fighters didn't have amateur careers. They learnt on the job. Most good modern fighters had extensive amateur careers consisting of hundreds of fights fought in a relatively short time span. Which isn't to draw a direct comparison, but just something to bear in mind.
haha yeh and by that you mean more exciting, crafty, durable, knock you out or get knocked out and put asses in seats sorta style. More or less what fans wanna see, than yes!
Oh yeah and athletes of today never use drugs or alcohol not too mention peds!!??
PEDs are different from other drugs because they're performance enhancers not detractors. They're also relatively recent discoveries whereas all those others date back to the times of the Pharoahs.
