not gonna lie, thats pretty bad-ass of floyd to call them out on their "confidence"... but if they WERE to accept the bet (highly unlikely), then it would GUARANTEE the absolute most boring fight of floyd's career... he will stink it out to protect his money... 0% floyd will take "risks". financially bullying the kid... WOW. vegas baby.

There are many permutations to Floyd's offer of this bet. 1. He's calling De La Hoya's bluff. 2. It puts MASSIVE pyschological pressure on Ortiz. 3. If refused, Ortiz will wonder why De La Hoya refused it. More pyschological pressure on Ortiz. 4. Floyd will be even more determined to win as money is equally Floyd's motivation at this point alongside legacy. I dont even think Floyd put that much thinking into it; i think he was just talking trash...

Y'all can goto ustream and catch the archive of mayweathers media day. Its like 3 hours of footage. This stream was funny as hell. Floyd was talking a lotta sh1t. He even went in on elie sechbach.

I don't care how confident Ortiz maybe he would be stupid to take that bet unless De la Hoya tells him even if he loses he will give him 2.5 mill. For all that sh!t De la Hoya talked on the last 24/7 he should take the bet! Ortiz should ask him why he won't take the bet after all that he told him if De la Hoya turns down the bet.

If the bet is at even odds, it's the opposite of bad-ass. Floyd could make the biggest sure bet in betting history by betting on Ortiz to win at any bookie after making the bet with Ortiz/DLH.
