Burns-Broner in danger! Eloy Perez won't sub!

Earlier today Lem Satterfield of Ring formerly of Boxingscene reported that the Ricky Burns-Adrien Broner HBO fight in a few months is in danger of being scratched with Burns having a hard time to make weight. He also got words from Richard Schaeffer that fellow GBP fighter Eloy Perez could fill in if Burns is stripped. The piece quoted Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaeffer as saying he talked to the WBO and was told if Burns is stripped, a fight between Broner and Golden Boy stablemate and fellow undefeated charge Eloy Perez would be sanctioned for the vacant title. There's no way we can fight November 26th because my sister is getting married, so that is out of the question.
