Like I said, nitpicking. You're basically saying Prescott deserves a rematch cos hes talking trash...lol. So if Singsurat started calling Manny out, you'd be demanding the fight I assume?
Where did I say Prescott deserves a rematch? I simply stated, Khan doesn't want to get exposed, point blank.
It's not nitpicking... you're comparing Prescott-Khan to Pacquiao-Singsurat/Torrecampo and Margz-Martinez. Please, fill me in on the time when Singsurat/Torrecampo/Martinez all decided to talk trash and follow Pacquiao and Margarito everywhere they went...? Please do.
When you can do that, let me know when Pacquiao and Martinez became drunk with arrogance in saying that they were the best in the sport and that their time is now.
It's simple... Khan runs his mouth, is doing the same thing as Prescott by picking at Mayweather, yet he's never beat Mayweather, is nowhere near his level, and got sparked out in less than 60 seconds against the guy who keeps bothering him.
Yeah, I agree with you; Khan's on to bigger and better things. No, we don't agree on the fact that he can beat Prescott now. All Khan would do now is give Prescott the stage and everything he's fabricated over the last couple years at this point.

Prescott has done nothing since he knocked Khan out ( except lose twice and beat terrible fighters along the way) while Khan has picked up two belts and has some nice wins ( Malignaggi, Judah, Maidana, Kotelnik).
If Khan feels he needs to earn a rematch then that's his decision. As far as Prescott is concerned, Khan has the right to make the decisions.
I personally would like to get revenge on a loss but Khan right now has much bigger fish to fry.
Prescott is a high risk low reward fight for Khan. Prescott beating McCloskey would help his case, he needs to keep working his way up to get the fight he wants.
Those guys you mentioned lost to good fighters though.
Prescott.........erm - maybe at a certain level but not the level that fights for world titles. It should have been made ages ago, all Prescott has done since then is put his own reputation into perspective.
I see what you mean. But prescott was labled bum before khan.and after.that brings a little bit of shame.I wouldn't be in this thread inputing if he beat amir by decision.but the loss was embarassing.I like khan at times but he should fight this guy to get it over with.if he losses to mcClosky this thread should vanish.
Prescott needs to worry about his own career, not Khans. Some people are so hypocritical on here, if this were another fighter besides Khan, they wouldnt be getting so much hate
Its just because its Khan
Larry i normally agree with you but are you serious? Regardless of the Khan v Mayweather thing...do you seriously think Khan (at this point of his career) is scared of Prescott? Prescott is saying he'll "spit at him and his father"...if thats not STARVING for a payday i don't know what it is. Prescott- no class, he'll probably get beaten by the Irish taxi driver this weekend but i hope he wins so he re-matches Khan and gets brutally destroyed over 12 rounds. One hit wonder
Ppl are such hypocrites on here.how can you not avenge your first loss? I mean I could understand if it was early in your pro year but mid way to becoming something? Naahhh.khan owes a debt to prescott whether its a payday choice or not.its simple clarification,he got knocked the **** out in front of his fans.In devestating fashion.
Cotto, juanma, arce, rafael marquez,pac/marquez are all trying to avenge there losses, contreversies.khan on the other hand chooses to ignore like as if there's no blemish on his record :lol1::lol1:....and the hilarious part about all of this is that at the skill level khan is at now he has nothing to fear :rofl:.time to show what I call in boxing "little proves".

This is just simply nitpicking. The situations are very similar. Those fighters have gone on to forge great careers without avenging knockout losses. Im not saying I wouldnt like to see Khan take the rematch.Im just amazed at how much shiit he gets in comparison to others.

I still don't get it. What if Khan agrees to fight Prescott and Prescott
wins again?.khan is not dumb enough to repeat that mistake he did in the prescott fight, where he ran straight into another punch after being knocked down and dazed.
Khans a coward and Prescott has this boy terrified.he wants no parts of him and has used every damn excuse in the fukking book to dodge his father
Prescott is going to be comprehensively outboxed by Paul McCloskey.
The dude is not good enough plain and simple.
He beat a weak Amir Khan who never should've have fought on that date. He also threw at least four punches that he has shown in subsequent fights that he simply doesn't have in his locker - bit of a miracle fight for the bloke.
That was the epitome of a freak result - which is why any half-decent Brit fighter targets Prescott for a winnable fight with name recognition.
If Prescott managed to beat anybody good I'll agree with you.
Seem like the khanites trying to make Paulie this world class boxer knowing he’s soft as tissue. Boy couldn’t punch himself out of a wet paper bag. Prescott took Khanie soul and now he’s having nightmares on Breidis Sreet. Khanie is running like a plague and Hiding in the belly of a whale. He has to prove himself when he does go up in weight. Unless floyd is willing to take the fight when he move up for the money.
I still don't get it. What if Khan agrees to fight Prescott and Prescott
wins again? The same cycle repeats -- Khan makes a comeback and
Prescott gets defeated again in other fights. Another rematch?
I'm not objecting to a rematch. I'm just saying Prescott needs to do well outside of Khan first before asking for a rematch. Again why would he want
a rematch when he already beat Khan? Bigger pay day? If that is the case,
you don't insult the guy. You simply wait for Khan to ask for a rematch.
Meanwhile, try focusing on fights they put in front of you.
I don't criticize fans for wanting this fight. I want to see a rematch too. It's Prescott I'm taking issue with.
When Amir is practically ready to suck Floyd cock for a payday????Damn avenge your damn loss son
You know, Amir is a big enough name to do fine in his home country making milllions figthing bums. I think he is trying to push his legacy by trying to get a fight with May, which is commendable. I see where you are coming from though.
The thing about the Prescott fight is that it could have sold and been a big fight with a history. Prescott was the one riding the hype after that win and he effectively threw any momentum he had out the window with those losses. Its only a personal fight for Amir now and taking it would not only mean less $$ but less prestige.
Lets see how he does against McCloskey. Maybe a fight can be salvaged, but at this point its a step back for Amir, a step he should have took a long time ago, but a step back.
Sanders was actually 36-7 and in the best shape for a long time when he fought Klitschko. And his KO was really very much helped along by a couple of massive simultaneous .butts.
And it was TKO.
Negro please. He destroyed Wlad.
There's a difference... Khan possesses the arrogance to run around claiming he's the greatest thing in boxing today and has been stalking Mayweather. Martinez, Margz, Pacquiao, etc... don't go around talking out of their ass claiming to be the best and rather let the people decide.
On top of that... Sanchez isn't going around trashing Donaire's name... nor has Margarito of Martinez, Torrecampo/Singsurat of Pacquiao, etc. And even further, in all of those losses, those guys didn't get sparked out in 54 seconds.
Khan has slightly gained more fame since then. He hadn't fought in the states at the time of the shellacking so less people know about the Prescott beating. Has it ever crossed your mind that Prescott may be looking for easy exposure? Sure, it'll be a bigger payday, but only slightly compared to the first fight because regardless, Khan's star is much more than Prescott's and he'd be able to do a 70-30 type split. It's not a hard fight to make at this point... just not worth getting exposed on a larger scale, that's all.

Why would you want a rematch when you already beat him?
You normally move on and let the guy you beat decide if he
wants a rematch. If he doesn't, it's not your business to press
for it. It's his.
