Hate to be *that guy, but, America is a big ass place not limited to the US. Also, I disagree, support exciting boxers you like, regardless where they come from; but, it's more than fine to feel pride when a home town boxer wins.

boxing is not really a factor in the US if you think about it, boxing is BEHIND MMA in the US to be brutally honest, MMA don't depend on 1 or 2 Stars, they have MULTIPLE compared to Boxing who only have 2 LEGIT SUPERSTARS (Mayweather and Pacquiao) thanks to Pacquiao and Mayweather...BOXING FANS ARE SPLIT NOW! Here's an outrageous idea: just support the fighters you like, no matter their nationality. That sounds about right. Nationality will always have atleast alittle to do with some peoples view on a boxer, but it should not blind you.
