Honestly I get the whole “favourite fighter” debate, but people forget that boxing fans are also massive adrenaline junkies. Watching a big fight already gets the heart pumping, but some fans want extra excitement while following sports. In Australia a lot of people mix sports fandom with gaming platforms. One example is http://www.golden-crown-slots.com which is an online casino designed for Australian players and loaded with slot games and progressive jackpots. It supports heaps of payment options like Visa, Mastercard, so it’s pretty flexible. Not saying it replaces boxing action obviously, but the thrill of chance games scratches that same adrenaline itch for plenty of fans.
The first time I noticed 'Trackside' in an Aussie pub I thought it was something to entertain kids while their parents bet on the real neddies. Couldn't believe the reality as it played out in front of me.

Right now my favorite fighter in the game has to be someone who combines technique with real fight IQ, not just knockout power. I enjoy watching guys who can adapt round by round and still go for the finish when the opportunity shows up. It makes every match unpredictable and exciting. What also adds to the hype is when promotions offer a solid welcome bonus or special bonus tied to big fight nights, since that can increase the potential win if you place a bet wisely. I have seen some interesting offers like the 1win bonus which gives new players extra value to start with, especially during major events. Of course, no bonus guarantees a win, but it definitely makes following your favorite fighter even more engaging when there is something extra on the line.

I thought most on here knew I was pretty huge fan of Floyd Mayweather.
It's mainly because I'm also a huge fan of Roger Mayweather. So in the late 90's when I heard his nephew supposed to be as good as he was, I've been a fan since.
I like Bernard Hopkins, not really a fan per se but I do like him as a fighter. I was always a Roy Jones and a James Toney man.
Martinez? Not really a fan at all.
If Holyfield, Morales and Roy Jones count as 'active' fighters then they would be my favourites behind Mayweather. But as they're beyond done they don't really count.
Other than that I like Moreno, Gamboa, Donaire, Wonjongkam, Bradley, Ward etc etc etc
Okay, now I get the remark about sarcasm. lol
I might have guessed Holyfield or Morales; but, like you said, they're beyond done. You're also a fan of the slicker, flashier guys. "Well-rounded." lol
I remember. Miranda's had a rough road, and will probably never be champ, but I'm still a big fan.
Ya I remember his story he had it tough man. He had a couple tough fights with Pavlik and Bute.
Hesitantly, Carl Froch. But everytime I become a full fledged fan of a fighter lately they end up letting me down. It happened with Pacquiao and Bradley, so I don't want to jump on the Froch bandwagon full force because he'll probably turn into a b*tch then too.
lol Not at all, bro. lmao
I have great respect for Floyd's skills, but I'm not a fan of his style or personality. I somehow figured you for a fan of grittier fighters...Bernard Hopkins, maybe even Sergio Martinez....
I guess you never really know people. lol

You remember Miranda vs. Pavlik bombs were dropped in that fight.

I genuinely can't tell if this is sarcasm :lol1:

Floyd Mayweather Jr has been my favourite active fighter coming up to a decade now.
Wow, Dan...I'm surprised. I didn't figure you for such a big Floyd fan.
