hand issues
He's also got a contract with winning. Isn't he?
In any event, I haven't seen Ringside in a long time for a "big" fight. I've worn them for a few of my first fights and everyone else on the card did as well - but no one of note rocks them anymore it seems. RiVAL is coming up big now too.
Step ur game up eaner:boxing:
nothing to really step up to be honest
we will probably never get that custom on gloves it's just way to costly and holds up things.
Last pair of customs was I think PWill's gloves against Lara

that Winning gear is expensive and the guy who distributes it out here very rarely gives discount to anyone
Yeah canelo always wears winning gloves.I wish he would wear reyes or
everlast tho.
I will speak from my perspective with my company
there are very few people who actually get paid to wear anything fight specific. One thing we don't do is pay someone to wear our gloves solely. If we pay someone it's because they are now a representative of Everlast. It's a model we have stuck to recently and we have had to say goodbye to a few guys who didn't believe in our product but we also gained some really up and coming stars in the process
we generally take care fighters if we believe they have a chance to become something special. Equipment outfits fight gloves appearances etc are par for the course if we think you rep our brand well.
I personally will help anyone who needs it and is genuine in their approach to me. I cannot count the amount of times I have helped ammys who probably won't amount to much just because I do not want to see someone's dreams dashed because they cannot afford equipment etc
nah to be a paid Everlast rep takes time. Currently we only have one paid endorser in Ward and a few guys who wear our brand proudly. Those guys we will go out of our way to make sure they know how much we appreciate their loyalty
generally no they won't ever pay for their gear and top promoters won't pay for the fight gloves we provide.
my biggest client right now is Rios and I have told him point blank he won't ever have to pay for gear ever. Same to his trainer Robert Garcia.
exactly what we try and do.
my selling point for the year has been our glove provided the knockdown of the year in Nonito vs Donaire and a star has been born in Brandon. People now take notice and once they know who I work for ask me to see the MX see what different outfit designs I have made for certain fighters etc.
exactly
Elvis makes custom gloves I think because a lot of his work is in house. It's harder for us to do because we have a production of gloves to keep up with inventory. That does not mean we cannot make custom gloves (Dawson and Gamboa will wear customs) but it's harder for us because we literally have to stop production or pause it to make them
hope that helps
Juan diaz would always wear everlast
I won't front those are some bad ass custom gloves.
kudos to Elvis on providing a nice custom look for some of his key fighters
Step ur game up eaner:boxing:
hmm Reyes I would say. Grant in a way but in all honesty they target a certain fighter for the most part.
hey earner have you ever see fighters put a another gloves logo on a everlast glove
exactly what we try and do.

Montiel vs Donaire?
x
Thanks for the answers, yea a company like Everlast is much diffirent than others. You guys make products for the end-user's, since thats where the money comes from. But you still need to get the exposure so you have to get a few fighters and get the name recognized by the new generation.
In my personal view and memory I remember Everlast being huge in the 90's. For some reason I can remember seeing Everlast everywhere during the 90's. But recently I havent noticed it too much, I figured with the new way of product placement you guys would try to make sure your gloves are in any Boxing movie, or any movie that features a fight have a Everlast poster or gear lying around (not sure if you guys do this).
Who is your main competitor?
I've no doubt that it is
****ing hell :lol1:
that Winning gear is expensive and the guy who distributes it out here very rarely gives discount to anyone
How does it work, Im guessing like in most sports/life the Celebrities and top athletes get all their loot for free or get paid to use peoples products?

Like all the Hollywood actresses getting $50k goodie bags just to showup somewhere.

Do top level Boxers actually pay for their gear? Im figuring that Glove companies are fighting each other to provide gloves for free to top fighters just for the media exposure that they get from all the fans seeing the name.

So when those kids go buy a glove they will buy the one that their favorite fighters use.

ie all the Flomo's buying Grant's because thats what Floyd uses
exactly

wait you do realize the gloves headgear and protector Manny uses (the gold Winnings) are pretty expensive?
also the custom body suit Freddy wears is hand made and costs a grip to make
just because it's not flashy does not mean it's cheap. Winning gear is very expensive
