If you hate on Al Hamon, shouldn't you hate on bob arum too?

I just find it comical that boxing fans will complain about seeing the Punisher, Berto or whoever else on hbo. But turn around & shell out 50-60 bucks for a bob arum mismatch on ppv. Haymond gets his fighters payed. But I get to watch fights without a hefty ppv bill for most of them. I cannot complain about that. It's not like I have anything to do with hbo or their budget. All I'm saying is give me some boxing on hbo, or showtime that I don't have to pay 50 bucks a pop for. If arum wants to throw a fight on ppv, it should be a good, strong close matchup not his usual mismatches.

Am still waiting to see Haymon fighters fighting each other, I dont like arum but we get to see his fighters facing each other..

The majority under the Top Rank umbrella, what about more with other promoters? Under the Top Rank umbrella? Dude Top Rank reigns supreme regarding acquiring and maintaining a talented stable one can’t blame Arum for having the best fighting the best that just so happens to be under his banner…

I see everyone blasting Al Haymond & his fighters. A lot of it is deserved no doubt. But also a lot of the people hating on Haymond supports arum, or a few of his fighters. How does that work? Haymond gets his guys good money against less than stellar opposition right? But arum does the same thing except his star fighters only fight on ppv. Are you fukkin serious? Arum's prospects fight on minor ppvs, haymon's prospects fight 8 rounders on hbo... wtf are you smoking?

Al Haymon fighters get overpaid to fight bums and he never has guys in his stable fighting one another. Case in point- Berto was getting 1 mil+ paydays to fight the likes of Freddy Hernandez when he could've (and still could) fight Paul Williams. Bob gets ripped for doing what GBP does- putting his fighters in against eachother, meanwhile Haymon never does in-house fights. Well he's not a promoter like the two you mentioned. He's a manager without a license, so more of an adviser.

Boxing fans don't seem to have a mind of their own. They all seem to follow whatever people like steve Kim and few others say. How is it that you never see him or never heard him sh1t on another fighter let alone speak but yet the boxing public hates him.

I don't like either, but Haymon seems like this evil devil force with career ending blackmail on everyone at HBO. So many undeserving fighters he manages are paid ludicrous money and hyped up to no end.

I can't hate on Al Haymon. The guy takes care of his fighters. You can hate the man all you want, but the man does his job and does it brilliantly. True.. but it sucks for boxing fans.. when his fighters are getting undeserved paydays.. leaving less for other fights that HBO can put on due to $$$. When we get fights like Berto vs. Hernandez.. :popcorn:

Haymon looks to makes his fighters large sums of money Arum looks to make large sums of money out of his fighters, whilst at the same time not giving boxing fans the bouts we want I wanted Donaire-Montiel, I want Cotto-Margarito, I really enjoyed Segura-Calderon, etc etc....Why the hyperbole?
