This has been brought up before. I get a similar feeling. I hate to say it, because he seems like a decent kid and had a rough childhood, but Ortiz definitely comes across as simple. There are also many times on camera when Victor gives off a phony vibe, like he's trying hard to be something he's not. Anyway, I wish him continued success. I think he deserves it.
He's not used to having a camera following him around 24/7 and getting this kind of attention, everyone comes off a little fake when they're not comfortable.
Stop watching the show then if all you're gonna do is bi.tch.
"Floyd is gay...Ortiz is a retard"
Sorry we can't all be Larry the celibate ex convict with more kids than Ms. Wayans and more baby mama drama than Evander Holyfield.
What he meant was that when he started boxing at 9, he knew he would beat the top fighter in the world at some point, which in this case happens to be Floyd
:grumpy:
That makes a lot of sense, more people should look at it from different angles like you did.
Why the hell does he keep saying when he was 9 he said he was going to beat Floyd????Floyd was 19 then and a bronze medalist just turning pro,is he confusing him with Pernell Whitaker who was on top then?
After Mayweather's scintillating performance against Reggie Sanders, Ortiz felt compelled to be the one to defeat Mayweather... because he knew he'd be undefeated to this day after that extraordinary four round decision.
I said this in another thread...I do think he might be retarded. And i dont believe that he's ever seen a Floyd fight in his life

lol, college degrees are handed out to any idiot that shows up with a pencil.
Means nothing anymore.

still jeff seems like a sharp dude and a black sheep of sorts
Something is off about this guy,he just seems off centered
Ortiz kinda sounds like this guy:

Ortiz seems like he has severe ADHD, that's why he is always into some kind of sporting or training program. Surfing, HIIT, jogging, plyometrics, training for a triathlon, etc. He does come off as simple or slow but I think he is just that way. Floyd comes off as just ignorant and superficial.

the worst part is they let him say that and kept it in instead of editing it out, it sounds more stupid than it does good. When he said that I smh wondering who put him up to that. But of course he gets a pass cause he's young and dumb
Victor's IQ was tested and the result was he's in the average range at 102 (100 is average).
The whole Mayweather family - Floyd Sr, Floyd Jr, and uncle - have had scores of well below average.
Floyd's nickname in junior high school was "85" because the kids heard he scored 85 on the IQ tests. That's not quite retarded, but not far above it.
You mean his Uncle Jeff? Jeff Mayweather has a college degree from Western Michigan University.
