Average. He did show he can take a punch in the Berto fight, but I'll be more certain after this fight. Even though Floyd isn't a big puncher, he will get hit a lot.
Mayweather doesn't have the sheer power of Maidana. But like Marquez, he's such an accurate puncher that he can chip away and eventually knock you out, like the Hatton fight.
For me, the question isn't whether Ortiz gets knocked down or not...the question is 'how will he respond when frustrated and getting pushed to the limit?'
He has a decent chin. Has the heart to get up after shots (excluding the Maidana fight). Fights where you see both fighters go down are amazing fights and usually entertaining.
I'd say decent to average.
That shot that Berto hit him with was a huge shot that could have stopped alot of fighters so he did well to survive that.
true that was a brutal shot and he got right back up
jesus thinks he is voulnerable chin
but he recovers quick because of being in good condition and having sturdy legs/overall build
jesus loves you all

never seen Ortiz out on his feet or having a hard time getting up after KD his knockdowns is due to him being over aggressive and sloppiness more then Bad chin.
Not iron for sure, look at how often he goes down
I say decent. His chin is def crackable.
Yep, and to be honest i seen a slight buckle when he was hit with a right hand from Peterson late in the fight (it was like the 3rd right hand in the same sequence) and Peterson is not a big puncher. His chin isn't weak or glass, but i would worry about it against the big hitters.
vulnerable but he always seems able to recover after KDs and have yet to see him out of it after a good shot with Maidana he was obviously still capable of functioning bcse he was for sure that he wanted no more of what was being served
