There is nothing more non-stop than being raised from the dead to eternal life. Basically, it's you vs. me, and you are going to lose - unless you be changed - the match is out of your hands - but it is non-stop.
Both Jesus Christ and myself were conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, that is kind of like coming into the bout with a fixed card. But, some 1,925 years later Christ has deemed it proper that I be born again through normal consummation - that's kind of like a TKO.
I don't know if you can appreciate this pugilistic approach to circumstances beyond our control - but it is great to be back.
Please feel free to respond.
I always wondered if Jesus favored one fighter over the other.
Like he'd make one guy get pummelled cuz he was pissed at him while the other guy was doing good deeds and such so jesus let the one guy whup on the other.
These are the type of ponderings I have.
Or if Jesus was pissed at you, and you met him in a dark alley, does he come at you with the beer bottle or the piston like jab and lazer like overhand right. Or does he turn the other cheek, he's kinda unpredictable in that way.
Jesus was actually quite clear about that saying any sin committed against the Son of Man would be forgiven, but that against the Holy Spirit would not.
So the broader element which you consider in conflict isn't because Jesus is pissed or not - it is just two people going at each other needlessly.
No kings would have a war if there soldiers wouldn't fight.
