I think the stream was so bad is because the Philippines doesn't have the best internet connection in the world. I went there on business 3 years ago and the fastest internet they had was running 76 kbps.
Well that was three years ago, though a lot has improved lately. Probably the slowest they could give you nowadays is 3mbps for small businesses.

Really? :lol1: The stream was so crappy and the sound was so bad I barely could understand.
The media actually sounded like they sided w/ JMM on a fair amount of the topics. Which should be surprising for those who think that Pac doesn't get criticized by reporters from his own country.
Haha, yeah w/ the quality. They would switch between cameras and it would go from bad to worse.
Really? :lol1: The stream was so crappy and the sound was so bad I barely could understand.Yeah. Most if not all the media was Filipino. Even the guy who asked the question in Spanish was Filipino. For anyone who didn't watch the Q&A session, some of the guys were kinda ripping on Pac.
It wasn't even international media. It was mostly Filipino guys who write for Philboxing.

The international media is great, they cut the bullshit and go straight for the tough questions. It wasn't even international media. It was mostly Filipino guys who write for Philboxing.
the guy asking the spanish question brought up Manny using Catchweights to gain an advantage on his opponents LOL

The press is asking REAL good questions. It's a very tense atmosphere and Manny looks and sounds pissed at the questions, the fight, or even Marquez who knows but this isn't the same old Jolly Pacquiao.
interesting. I thought we might not see the usual p.c. smiling mr. sportsman manny in this one because i think he and jmm genuinely don't like one another. They definitely respect eachother as combatants in the ring but that's as far as it goes. I think pac really doesn't like marquez constantly going on about how he beat pac twice, which is probably what set him off here.
posting from my phone, can't see the press conference. What is the atmosphere like? How many people are there?
Feels like they're in a talk show. Everyone is being very cordial (no screaming and yelling from fans).
Fans are asking questions. Can't really see the crowd or hear them apart from the few you see in front of the fighters.
Marquez is doing his best to answer questions in English. (which is cool.)

Looks like that Filipino ain't a pactard.

posting from my phone, can't see the press conference. What is the atmosphere like? How many people are there? It's all press and some other people. They're asking some really tough questions towards Pac and Arum. Pac looks kinda pissed.
The Filipino media is asking some really good questions.
Interviewer to Arum: "Manny's last fights were crap. What do you say?"
I'm just paraphrasing that, folks.
Arum: "All things happen for a reason, I'm happy it's happening now."
Interviewer to Manny: "What Manny Pacquiao should we be expecting?"
Manny: "It's gonna be a good pight because um, Marquez declared he won the last two fights, and I have to train hard for this fight and give a good show."
