At 147 right now? I think I will lean towards Berto. Because, I'm not sure how comfortably Clottey can make 147 right now. He was having troubles before. So he might be very weak now trying to make 147.

I’d say Berto, at least I’d like to imagine Berto wasn’t the mere paper champ his career assumes him to be (in due time we’ll know and I’m one of those people who gained more respect for him from his loss to Ortiz than from many of his wins). Let’s say Clottey can make 147. Clottey, strategically, would often wait for his opponent to lose some gas before initiating a more offensive attack and given Berto’s sketchy stamina, there’s a high possibility Berto would’ve done just that. So, Berto would’ve unloaded while Clottey waited. After a few rounds, Clottey would’ve picked up the pace, essentially letting his hands go on a fighter who would’ve looked to stall time by holding…all of sudden this fight is boring on both sides of the spectrum. Who would’ve won more rounds? I’d like to say Berto, BUT it’s important to note, Clottey is more willing to let his hands go against opponents who don’t phase him (hence he hasn’t lost ever single fight he’s been in). If Berto doesn’t get Clottey’s respect, this fight could surprise us all. I’m leaning towards Berto (maybe 7 rounds to 5), but for good reason, I’m not so confident. It’s basically a 50/50 fight for me, Berto just had the better showing as of recently.
Folded? He was the aggressor at the end of the cotto fight, a fight he should have won IMO. Cotto won the last round based on a hook that hit Clottey in the arm pit and sent him off balance. None the less, he was the aggressor. IMO that isn't a question of his heart, if anything i question his stamina. He seemed fatigued and moved forward without throwing
What??? Clottey had a one eyed Cotto standing right in front of him and he barely threw a punch in the 11 and 12 round. Clottey should have won that fight decisively given the state of Cotto's cut, even with the early knockdown via a jab. Clottey wasn't aggressive enough in that fight and that's why he lost. The fight could have been a draw or gone either way imo.

I disagree, the TS is right IMO. I think Clottey folded against Cotto also. Also with Marg with acting like he broke his hand, when it wasn't broken.
Personally, I think this is a 50/50 fight but I lean towards Berto because he seems to have more heart than Clottey. Berto dug down deep against Collazo and didn't give up against Ortiz, while Clottey folded against Cotto and Pacquiao. I know that Clottey has fought the much tougher comp though.

If punching bag shows up, Berto.
If walking tank shows up, Clottey.
No one is getting knocked out. Clottey has feather fists. Berto can't knock out punching bag.
