Can't recall ever getting one of these before. Seems like a pretty cool idea, though.

That's cool as hell, and this is EXACTLY what I was talking about when I said that boxing needs to catch up with UFC.
Check it:
I deal with contacts in the business, and they tell a very divergent story between boxing and MMA (specifically, UFC).
The retail (restaurants, bars, strip clubs, etc) outlets know many months in advance when the UFC dates are. What are we, on UFC 135 or some sh!t? I betcha that they have UFC 140 slated - date and location.
That allows the field outlets to plan everything: advertising, promotion, staffing, security, food, bar stocking, etc.
PLUS, the UFC is a PARTNER. When Joe Hand sells them the license for the night, they also get all kinds of trinkets and trash that gets fans engaged.
I went to a UFC PPV event at a Champp's Americana. They had "UFC girls" at the door in baby t-shirts. You paid your five bucks a head, and you got a "ticket" that had the fighters' photos on it. They had a raffle and giveaways for UFC stuff. A table was set up with literature and fighter's photos, etc.
Boxing does NONE of that. They just roll out the PPV like "here, buy this".
UFC pays their fighters less. True. Because they are investing back into the business. Marketing isn't free.
