From the August 24th, 2011 Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Joe and guests Charlie Murphy and Freeze Love talk about:
- Mike Tyson and his lions
- Manny Pacquiao and his stardom
- Victor Ortiz and his childhood
- Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and his training regimen
Exactly. Rogan has always been a chill guy and he does know a hell of whole lot of boxing.
Unlike his boss Dana "I don't know who JMM is but I respect him". :lol1:
Yep Lol Dana said that? He actually knows about Boxing too though and he respects the Sport. I don't know if you heard but the UFC isn't going to compete with the Marquez vs Pacquiao 3 fight. Feritta said they are gonna be on before, even the UFC knows that when Mayweather and Pacquiao fight it's hard to compete.
Also Dana once said if Mayweather and Pacquiao fight he won't have a UFC event on that day, he'll be at the fight.
Fans of both Sports should respect both Sports.

Um, he didn't bash Floyd at all during that interview. He just stated that those who crap on the UFC really just don't understand it. Look at BHop, he used to call MMA "gay ****" but once he got to understand it, he changed his mind.
no mma guys were around.
Damn I am surprised with Charlie Murphy's knowledge of Boxing. I knew Rogan knew that much about Boxing I heard him talking about Boxing before and he knows boxer from like 1980 up to the present.
Im only 19 right now and I will never truly understand how big Iron Mike Tyson really was in the 80's. I have an older cousin who is 41 and he was saying he has never seen an athlete captivate so many peoples attention as Tyson did.
charlie murphy's father boxed professionally...
if you get rogan around a bunch of mma guys, he bashes floyd.
although i love how he handled lou dibella in this head-to-head interview:
He's never bashed Floyd regarding his boxing abilities or even his outside persona. I can only imagine ridiculing Floyd for some of the comments he made about the UFC/MMA which is completely understandable.
