deposition my ass this is boxing manny pacquiao (the underdog against floyd) is scared that is probably what floyd is thinking. and as i said before, only time will tell if that's a good idea for him to have that kind of attitude regarding this case.

No... still languishing. If you've ever been in a civil (even personal injury) case, you know that they can drag on if the attorneys want them to. it all depends on having a compliant judge who will keep allowing extensions.

Floyd is once again ducking and dodgeing Pacquiaos defamation case. This whole thing would've been settled by now if he had just showed up when the judge told him to. Its only gonna cost Floyd more out of his pocket when he has to pay for not only his attorney fee's but also Pacs when he inevitably loses. And Arums got the best lawyers in the country working for him. From everything I have read regarding this on sites such as this, him never bothering to show up equates to a default judgement up to 1 million USD...I could be wrong, but from everything I have seen (including everything posted by Pactards, Flomos, etc) it basically says if Floyd never shows up he is subject to a penalty of no more than 1 million in damages. I don't know much about American Law, I'll take your word for it, but that fine would only be for blatant contempt of court. There might even be a jail term attached as well. This wouldnt interfere with the verdict in the major case, which might automatically follow, if the judge grants Pacquiao's lawyers' applications for judgement.
