I'm just wondering on what were the amateur records of the pro boxers of today. I always heard about Leonard, Mayweather Jr., and Jones. Also, a bit about Bute and Ward. I'm just wondering if anyone can post information or would like to share and discuss the amateur records of the pro boxers of today. If you can just list the records or post fights of the fighters we hear and know about today, that would be great and much appreciated. Were there any who were pretty bad or really good and turned out to be the opposite?
Edit: Older fighters are welcomed to be discussed as well.
Felix Savon W-362 - L-21

6 World Amateur championships and 1 silver
3 Gold in the Pan American Games
3 Gold in the Central/Caribbean Games
Guillermo Rigondeaux 243 wins, 4 losses last 2 lost was in 1998 and 2003
Andre Ward 110–5 last lost in 1998
Odlanier Solís 227 victories, 14 losses never loss in important competition
Matvey Korobov 300-12.
That's interesting, I've never heard of that.
Anyone know if this is true?
Pretty sure it is true, I think Robinson was 19 at the time, it was some small town where Pep was fighting, and he the class act.
SRR beating Pep was a bit of a shock to the locals.
In 1938, Pep was outpointed by Sugar Ray Robinson in an amateur bout in Hartford, Connecticut. Many locals didn't believe that Robinson was really an amateur, so he and his trainer, George Gainford, were put in jail overnight while Robinson's amateur standing was checked. The following morning, after Robinson's amateur standing was confirmed by an AAU official in New York, the two were released. (Sugar Ray, Sugar Ray Robinson with Dave Anderson, page 52)

Brandon Rios: 230-35
Jessie Vargas: 120-20
Kermit Cintron: 24-3
Anyone know if it's true about Joel "The Love Child" Julio being 85-0 in the ams? I heard about it somewhere
Didn't Robinson beat Pep in the amateurs and then was arrested because they thought he was a pro.
That's interesting, I've never heard of that.
Anyone know if this is true?
"Jesse" James Lejia, the man who made a name with his series against Azumah Nelson. Drawing the 1st match, winning the 2nd to take away Nelsons belt. 3rd fight Lejia gets stopped in 6 , and in the 4th fight beat Nelson to take his belt once again.
Leija had an amateur career that spanned three years, going 23-5 during this time. He won the San Antonio Golden Gloves in 1988.
