Ray I respect your point but niether Floyd, Manny or Martinez are at the "challenge" phase of their careers. They are at the "money" stage. Martinez is even worse off because he is obstensibly a "bside" fighter even though he is the MW champ of the world. For both Mayweather and Paq fighting Martinez is a challenge for them, because they would be facing a fighter who is not only bigger than them but also skilled and on a good run of wins at the moment...You can alway be challenged at any stage in boxing.

I agree that he's top 3 P-4-P, but he's got maybe two years tops of him being "The Guy." Pacquiao won't happen, and I doubt Floyd would do it - although he could time Sergio by the second. People bringing up the weight difference are a joke. Martinez can meet them both at 154, where both fighters have fought (well Pacquiao didn't really, but he could surely fight him at 154 if he smashed Margarito). Hagler fought Leonard and Hearns, Hopkins fought De La Hoya and Trinidad, it happens sometimes good smaller fighter move up to fight a good bigger fighter.
