yeah he pulled out like a week after the quake happened and it's rumored he took step aside money from mayweather. it's possible he just used the quake as an excuse that's why i said it was suspicious.
smh..........................................
Shouldn't have needed a video of him looking crappy in sparring to remember he has a track record of bailing out when things get difficult. He talked himself into the promotion, so props to him for that, but the fight went exactly as it should have.
from all accounts mosley looked terrible in preparation for the berto fight.
mayweather knows mosley well.
berto suspiciously pulled out.
mayweather who wanted no part of mosley earlier suddenly wanted to fight him.
do the math.
Manny vs Ortiz is the "best sparring" Freddie Roach has EVER seen in his lifetime as a fighter and trainer, yet Floyd cherry picked Ortiz??? See how this works..........
Spadafora and Peterson (Lamont) have both given Floyd good work in sparring. Would they stand any chance in a real match??
Sparring can be a very good indicator of where a fighter is, or it can be a terrible indicator. It depends on where both fighters are in terms of their current fitness levels and preparation. If a fighter is horrible in sparring from start to finish of camp then it's probably not a good indicator of how they will fight.
khan beat judah hell of a lot better than floyd did, no contest....
funny too coz the judah that floyd foughtwas comming off a loss, while the one that khan fought was comming off a win....
better add khan to floyd's duck list now, that is inevitable....
Hate when people say it's just sparring. Floyds partners have been known to leave teh gym with busted noses, black eyes, EVERYTHING. You have to go HARD when you're training for a fight of this magnitude. At some point the strategy is put in and it's time to see how you can utilize it full speed.
It's not "just sparring".
ur right ....
but sometimes at the beginng of a training camp a world class fighter could get beat up by his sparring parnters untill he shakes off the rust and gets into fighting shape.
if this vid is from the end of camp than...

yeah............and Berto covered it up by actually going to Haiti the day after he pulled out to Help out. To avoid suspicion right................SMH, some of you guys believe EVERYTHING!!
are you dumb berto pulled out because of the earthquake dumbass and the pac negotiations had failed and mosely was the only good opponent

I personally don't think he looked that bad.
Sparring is never a good indicator to how a fighter will perform in the ring because we don't know what fighters are working on in rounds of sparring.
Some rounds they might use to work on their defense, then the next few they use to work on a certain combination and maybe some rounds they work on things that they think will have some success against their opponent.
Just because Zab is at world class level doesn't mean he isn't always trying to get better by working on his skills.
We got to remember that fighters training camps last for weeks and weeks. They will have sessions where they focus on the gameplan for their opponents and the next they are working on conditioning and their own skillset.
