What we must continue to remember is that these guys have come up from small weight classes already. 147 is probably the max they can go and have a continually high level of performance. What next if they beat Martinez, should they then go up to 160 and fight someone? It has to end somewhere. I'm not saying that I wouldn't wanna see the fights, because they would be huge challenges for Pacquiao and Mayweather, but I certainly wouldn't say a bad word about them should they choose not to fight Sergio.

does margo speak english??how much english does jmm speak??was this really your excuse?? Unlike Martinez, Marquez and Margarito has a huge Mexican/Mexican-American following. Marquez does speak a bit of English and can be somewhat interviewed in English. There really isn't a huge Argentine-American or any significant fanbase following for Martinez in his case.

If Sergio is the same size as Margo he should have no problem making the 150. Hes bigger though which seems to be the problem for Manny. Floyd was willing to fight Oscar at 154, so that argument is valid, but Pac wasnt wiling to fight at 154.

Don't get me wrong I would LOVE to see either Pac or Floyd fight Martinez at 154..BUT at the end of the day we have to be realistic. Pac probably walks around at somewhere from 150-155, Floyd probably 160-165, and Martinez probably about 185. I'm sorry if I can't be mad at Pac or Floyd for not getting in the ring with a guy who walks around every day at least 20-20 pounds heavier than them. Anyone who has ever actually boxed before can appreciate this. I remember one time when I was sparring in the UK I was around 170 and they put me in there with a guy who was about 195. I boxed circles around him for the most part, but let me tell you, when he actually did hit me, it was like getting hit by a f***ing freight train lol.
