He can if he started to fight higher division or hold belt on two division. He can make his own legacy. He maybe old but Hopkins is older. By the time he reach the age of Hopkins today he had done plenty of fights. If he can still fight at 154 then get a belt at 154. Champion at two division simultaneously then try 168. So many popular boxers are champions in 3 division or more
I think a JCC Jr.-Martinez fight would be on a Top Rank PPV and possibly even Cotto-Martinez. Since he'll never get the chance to fight Floyd or Manny those seem to be his best options for a big payday.
cotto? :dunno:
Not right now, Sergio would have to get his name out there more to the casual fan before a fight with Cotto would work on PPV. At least that's what Arum would say. If that fight were to happen now I think it wouldn't do anything over 200k.
If Martinez fought JCCjr, that could be around 200-500k buys. That wouldn't be bad for co-starring in a PPV.
true thats a good start but top rank and dibella ppv? hard to make bro
Funny thing bout that is the Pactards would preffer Cotto, who's less great than Pacman to fight Martinez than the much greater Pacman.
exactly what i was thinking i dont get how u rather fight someone less worthy :dunno:
hes a very exciting fighter it sucks that he isnt on PPV yet. i would pay to see him in action vs a top dog like cotto mayweather or manny of course
