PAVLIK: "Manny Pacquiao Has a Drinking and Gambling Problem. He Has No Money Left"

THIS IS NOT A PACQUIAO BASH THREAD. Now, you guys know I take shots at Pacquiao. This is not about Manny. This is about Kelly Pavlik not facing his OWN problems and using his media opportunity to take shots at guys who have not caused or contributed to his problem. Kelly says that despite all the money that Pacquiao makes, that Manny has to take advances from Top Rank. If this is what Kelly knows, then that may (MAY) be part of his own twisted justification for asking Top Rank for more money and pulling out of fights. Man up, Kelly. in his defense people been very vocal about his problems and guys like Bhops saying they could get to him and help him I could see how that could make him snap like that. that **** is personal if you are trying to help the guy talk to him in person.

gambling is possible but i dont know about drinking. i wouldnt trust words from a alcoholic anyways. If manny is taking advances from Top Rank, his fans should be verrry concerned about that.

Sadly you are probably right, such a waste of a career and talent. Ward and Froch will BOTH be coming to HBO right after the S6, I presume. That sound about right? They are emerging as the stars (as well as the finalists) of the S6. Showtime can do a fight between Abraham and a semi-cleaned up Pavlik. I'd watch that.

No. There are too many reliable guys at 168 for a network to risk big money on Kelly. Remember when Judah burned Shane? He was fighting for (relative) pennies after that. Took him a long while for another serious shot. Sadly you are probably right, such a waste of a career and talent.

I was a big fan of Pavlik from 2006-2008 but he has seriously lost it, i honestly thought he would go down as an ATG at the time lol. Will Pavlik ever come back from this and have a decent career?. No. There are too many reliable guys at 168 for a network to risk big money on Kelly. Remember when Judah burned Shane? He was fighting for (relative) pennies after that.
