im thinking of laying some cash on this fight
vitali does not and has never had the type of 1 punch brutal KO power that his brother has, despite having a higher KO% than he does. Vitali's KOs mostly come from an accumulation of blows throughout the duration of the fight
i believe that adamek has a good enough chin and is a good enough mover to avoid an accumulation stoppage. i dont see him getting tagged clean frequently in this fight. he will constantly be moving in and out and turning vitali in this fight. if (and when) he does get hit, he will be able to handle it. im not saying vitali is a soft puncher, but he is 40 now and will likely throw less/have slower reflexes and i believe adameks chin is good enough to handle the power when it lands. vitalis jab is not like his brothers so its not out of the realm of possibility for adamek to close the distance.
now being that this fight in all likelihood will go to a decision, i think adamek takes a split D. adamek throws nice combos to the body and head and he WILL land on vitali. something that alot of people are overlooking is that this fight is in poland and if its very close, the judges will probably favor adamek slightly. im not saying they will rob vit, but i see this as being a VERY close fight and i it comes down to a 1 or 2 round difference, i think they will probably hand those rounds to tomazs
i think there is some serious cash to be made on this fight.
adamek can beat vitali on the scorecards if he fights a near perfect fight...unfortunately if he does, he will get brutally knocked out by wlad who is a much more powerful and explosive puncher than vitali at this stage and even a better technical boxer
adamek new HW champ!
They could clone Adamek's mom twice and have her and her clones be the judges, Adamek's dad could be the ref, his brother's could drug Vitali's water, and the fight could be held at Adamek's family reunion. All that and Adamek still wouldn't win. That's how much of a beast Vitali is.
It's possible. I don't even know how Adamek should fight Vitali. I want to say, try to outbox him, but long range would then favor Vitali. I would say just trade and fight, but Vitali hits harder. So I don't know. This is why this fight is so good for me, I don't know what's going ot happen, I have no prediction really. But I feel safer saying Vitali will win rather than Adamek will win.
I was thinking along the similar lines here, but the more I mull it over the less likely I see it happening. The stars would have to align for Adamek perfectly, or there would have to be some atrocious robbery for him to actually win. Adamek doesn't have the speed, power and physical toughness to implement the gameplan that I see him needing to beat Vitali, namely a similar gameplan to the one Holyfield implemented against Foreman of getting in and out with sharp combinations and avoiding the bigger stronger and slower man for large stretches of the fight. Sooner or later he's going to get tagged (it happens in every single one of his fights) get stunned and probably get stopped. If not, he's going to take a horrendous beating and (assuming the judges are honest) get soundly outpointed. Saying that, I keep seeing flashes of Adamek fighting the perfect fight and confounding everyone's expectations with an amazing display of heart and will, the crowd roaring him on to victory against an increasingly desperate and bloodied Vitali... Then the logical part of my brain kicks in and I think, nah, he's gonna get KOed or UDed.

I hope you are an alt having fun. Otherise, you dont know **** about boxing. Adamek gets slaughtered.
Adamek is going to get beat up until he is knocked out, quits or the ref stops it. Vitali is a step too far for Adamek who i admire but i can't see him winning.
Adamek is the man and has the heart of a lion, there is no quit in him. Vitali won't be fighting a guy that is going to jump down onto the canvas once the first punch is thrown.
WAR ADAMEK!!!!!!!!!!

Adamek is not a granite chin fighter. The unique thing about him is his ability to recover exremely fast once stunned.
He was genuinely hurt at Cruiser by both Johnathon Banks and Steve Cunningham, I am relatively certain Vitali hits harder than either of those men, even is he is not a devastating puncher.
Difference between Vitali and those guys is Vitali has the killer finishing instinct, once he hurts Adamek he will put him away.
I expect a great fight and Adamek will make himself look good in defeat. He certainly will not go out with a whimper the way Haye did.
And no, I don't see how a guy who struggled against Grant and wasn't impressive against McBride UD Vitali.
Maybe by cuts there is a tiny chance.
Same for Ortiz, I don't see how a guy who get a draw against Peterson and a competitive war Berto in his last two fights is being a threat to PBF.

I think you're dreaming. Vitali has barely lost a round in his whole career and though he has slowed down some what Adamek is way too small, he isn't strong enough. His handspeed is good but his feet aren't particularly quick. His defence is awfully leaky. I don't think he has enough power to bother Vitali in the slightest & as for his chin, it's well above par but it's not iron and it was only last year he went life & death with Michael Grant.
The only decent heavyweight he has fought has been Arreola who gave him hell, Vitali destroyed Arreola with sheer ease.
I don't care if Adameks family are ringside scoring this, he isn't winning.
And for his preparation he has been sparring Malik Scott & Deontay Wilder, IMO not the best of sparring to prepare for Vitali.Vitali by K.O/T.K.O
Wilder is sloppy, one dimensional, he has no experience, and Scott is a southpaw I think, so yes, bad sparring partners, Wach or Dimitrenko would be better.
