Bob Arum told me HBO's 24/7 for Pacquiao-Marquez will replay on CNN.

Cotto: too green for floyd (Arum) damage good
Clottey: nobody
Margarito: the cheater
LOL......
*sigh*
Cotto was too green then Floyd was too scared, essentially admitting he would only fight guys when they aren't a threat to him which is why he is facing Ortiz now.
Clottey is a nobody, fine I'll keep that excuse as to why Manny didn't fight Foreman or Williams then, they are nobodies.
Floyd had the chance to fight Marg for 8 million and turned it down to fight a 11 loss fighter in Baldomir. This was before he was cheating use a new excuse to keep Floyds dick in your mouth please.
no has nothing to do with manny..if it was floyd,or anyone else i just dont see the connection to cnn viewers and boxing fans
Its a global channel. The connection is INTRODUCING new fans, how can you sport get bigger if no one new doesn't see it? WTF, do you guys not get the term of "Exposure" and expanding your brand. That's how you do it, you get people who wouldn't watch it otherwise to turn their heads, you do that by putting it a global channel that isn't familiar with boxing.
Manny fought Cotto, Margarito, Clottey who Floyd never fought. Don't play the "ducking" game as a Floyd fan you'll lose every time.

LOL floyd is back that is great for boxing, your hero is fighting JMM the guy he duck for 3 years (koncz words) at WW because now JMM don't have a chance and floyd is fighting the #2 WW in the world!! who is the face of boxing??

You guys are such massive haters that because its MANNY on CNN you guys can't even realize this is great for boxing.

The Pinoy are already going crazy buying Manny Pacquiao brand condoms. Just look at the nifty packaging.

LOL, I just came to the conclusion, that Pinoys will be saying that Pacquiao is the greatest SINGER of all time! With just this 1 album, he will be rated higher than Elvis, Micheal Jackson and everyone else.
he posted record sells..you posted radio play...crap is always on the radio but no 1 in their right mind is gonna buy that garbage..payola gets you on the radio...not talent
Only Pinoys or Asians will buy that, and most of them might download it, therefore Pacquiaos music album will FLOP.
Well CNN won't help any PPV buys, most of CNN viewers are OLD PEOPLE.
If they wanted to attract people who would buy the PPV they should have done it on MSNBC, a channel with young people from ages 18-35.
hurrr...if Obama is the first 45-50 minutes of the show...it starts at 8:00 PM EST and runs to 9:00 PM EST...and your evidence is the 8:30 ratings mark? mmmmkay whatever u say
You're just mad you were PWNED and that Manny is on national TV. Granted its on a dumb channel but who cares, its a WORLDWIDE Channel that's why its on the network.
Pac haters are funny, if Floyd were on CNN they would be all over this saying it would get 10 million buys. Flomos are just mad that being humble and respectable earns you A LOT more money, exposure and popularity than being a wife beating, big mouth vagina. Will this lead to more buys, maybe a little but the more people know about Manny the better is for BOXING. Sure it might not lead to a PPV buy but someone might go watch it at a friends house who was going to get it anyway and become a fan. Becoming a FAN of boxing >>>>>> PPV BUY.
man no 1 gives a crap bout his terrible singing,he's a fighter only dick riders would actually buy that crap, are you serious?you think id actually buy a cd of floyd rapping??hell naw its crap
I wouldn't them either. What is your point?
"All of his music sales"
You're delusional
Here is the Billboard Top 200 albums for the past week.
Pacquiao is nowhere on there. If you know half of the bands on there I will be surprised.
http://www.billboard.com/charts/billboard-200#/search/Pacquiao
He isn't even on Billboard's website, so obviously he is a huge success.
Here is the results searching for him on itunes...
You can keep dreaming about how big a star the Pacman is, but it just isn't the case.
You could've just let this die and left with some dignity intact, but since you're such a masochist...
When looking through the Top-40 adult contemporary list on FMQB.com, a site that compiles airplay from stations around the country, some notable names come up: Adele, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5 and everyone's favorite, Katy Perry. Yet one name may take some by surprise -- Manny Pacquiao.
That's right. The current WBO welterweight world champion released a cover of the Dan Hill classic "Sometimes When We Touch" that has reached No. 11 in popularity this week.
http://www.nesn.com/2011/08/manny-pacquiaos-cover-of-sometimes-when-we-touch-reaches-no-11-on-adult-contempory-ratings.html
You done yet?
You're acting like these are new approaches that they haven't already tried with Pacquiao.
They tried to grow his "brand" by putting him in a prime slot on network television. It failed, horribly. His popularity brought CBS the lowest ratings they have ever received in that time slot and finished dead last in the ratings among network television. I doubt putting it on CNN would give any benefit to him, if anything it will drive those actually wanting to see news to switch to another network. Pacquiao's "brand" will grow even more by finishing dead last in the ratings again, all my points on it.
They advertise every upcoming fight during other sporting events, this isn't some new novel approach. It has been going on for years and if it actually benefits PPV sales is questionable.
America doesn't particularly like Pacquiao. Do Filipinos and Filipino-Americans love him? Obviously. But the rest of America doesn't care very much about him, or about boxing in general.
You can trot out your 60 minutes ratings and try to claim it was because Pacquiao is so popular. Then neglect to tell people that Barack Obama was the first 50 minutes of the show with Pacquiao just being the filler at the end.
You are clearly insane and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Pacquiao has several restraining orders against you for stalking. You are hands down the most obsessed poster when it comes to his personal life and other menial things involving him. You're a dickriding Arum cheerleader on top of it.
Quit hating u d*ckhead
At least they're replaying it somewhere else for those who don't have HBO. Richard Schaefer kept on saying that Mayweather/Ortiz 24/7 was going to be replayed on TNT and TBS and it turns out that it's just on HBO and only HBO.
Boxing is not big enough of a sport to show on CNN. Even if Ali was in his prime today, CNN, a news only station, would not be justified in showing a boxing show. In fact, no individual sport is big enough. The ENTIRE Olympics, maybe. But not one sport.
AND SO WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?? ISNT THAT GREAT THEYRE GOING TO SHOW A NOT SO GREAT OF A SINGLE SPORT (according to you) ON CNN?
The pac-Mosley fight camp was the first boxing related anything on network TV since '97 (unless you count the contender), and it was on CBS at erratic times and the show wasn't really promoted by the network. Even still, the 1.3 million viewers it garnered was double the highest viewership for any 24/7, earned Pac his highest PPV sales to date, and immediately after he scored major endorsement deals with HP, Nike (renewal), State Produce, and others.
I'm sure you've seen the HP commercials at least a hundred times on any channel you watch, you can't tell me that his brand isn't growing. Only the most avid hater would make that claim.
It will take more to bring Boxing back to mainstream prominence, but you have to start somewhere.
So you're telling me that all of Pacquiao's PPV buys, music sales (in the U.S.), Nike sales, etc are coming solely from the Filipino-American community? Does that mean that only African-Americans care about Floyd? That's blatant racism, ignorance, and xenophobia.
November 7th, 2010.
From tvbythenumbers.com:
8:30 CBS 60 Minutes 3.3 Rating 13.966 million viewers
So 14 million viewers stuck around for Manny, in the second 1/2 hour of the program, after Obama's segment.
Unless people confused Pacquiao for Obama, you need a new story.
:haha: Eat a dick.
Lol you completely owned him/her/whatever. She calls calls people "dickriders" but she is one of the most blatant, biased Pac haters on the board.
