omg people act like hatton not having to cut hundred pounds to make weight makes him a better fighter, only reason he does better at 140 is can push them people round whereas 147 he cant therefore hes ineffective. And floyds not a big welter he came from a smaller weight class also. You really think a 140 version of hatton beats 147 version of hatton?
well every time pac had a good fight he lost it and got smashed :lol1:
two beatings he received from JMM then many knew it was time to hang up the gloves because blocking punches with your head is not what a good fighter does..then came arum and helped his little puppet out..catch weights, damaged goods, top rank bumms..those are the people paccy is fighting.
now jmm 3 at catch weight WOOWW
Lol at people saying Hatton was bloated at 147lb.
In an era where boxers are moving up 5 to 8 divisions, you mean to tell me Hatton moving up one weight division causes him to bloat.
I also don't think people remember Floyd was moving down from fighting at 154lb.
So they were meeting in the mddle.
^^^^that right there
Hatton has the higher chance of beating Floyd at 140, Hatton best weight than Floyd best weight at 147 and there is no way Floyd will move down to 140 to fight Hatton there. While Pac on the other hand, after he fought Oscar at 147, he moved down and fought Hatton at his best weight division 140. Pac got more credit when he moved down at 140 and beat Hatton there compared to Floyd when he did the exact opposite.
:Thinkingo
hatton... who walks around at 150-160 lbs between fights? and pac who is a natural 140lb fighter that has to eat 'x' amount to get to 147lbs?
GTFOH:dance:
Remember how Hatton struggled at WW against Callazo? That fight showed he doesn't belong there. Pac two catchweight fights, he was the smaller man while hos opponents enjoyed a 10-17 advantages.
plz, he looked better against collazo that berto did. if u wanna call that a struggle against a fighter who is notoriously hard to look good against then knock urself out. he still won that fight against a good ww.

man plz. idc where hatton fought floyd at, he was gonna lose. ppl like to make this fight about weight. weight played no role in the determination for what happened in that bout. so floyd didnt fight him at 140, boo hoo. why should he? because thats what manny does right? fight ppl at their natural weight limits? the hypocrisy of some of u dudes is so laughable.
now all of a sudden, hatton who normally balloons up in weight during his offtime, looked bloated at ww, even tho one he had previously fought collazo at ww. make it seem like it was his first time, rite.
plz, he wasnt bloated. i love these excuses. smh...the weight he fought at made no difference in the outcome of the fight. hatton looked healthy and he fought the way he normally did. he wasnt bloated, he didnt look outta shape. he was fine. he was just in the ring with a better opponent. save ur bs excuses.

WTF are you talking about the weight he fought at made no difference in the outcome. 7 pounds a a big difference and if Mayweather went down to 140 which is a weight he is not used to coming down to since he hadnt fought there in 2 years. It would definitely have an effect on the outcome of the fight Im just using your words bruh:
notice i said lose. if ur gonna quote me do it accurately. we are talking about fighting at a higher weight, not a lower weight. hatton was not affected with being at a higher weight. he looked really good/really prime. dont make it seem like he was bloated because it was absolutely not true. losing one pound is definitely harder than keeping on extra pounds.

"i like pac, but i gotta agree with this statement. a catchweight, like the one he used on cotto, makes a fighter lose more weight than he/she is a accustomed to losing. im sure it has much more of a physical/mental effect than blood testing either way u slice it."
"now i dunno how it was for cotto. but u are wrong on ur premise. one pund can be extremely difficult for a fighter to lose. the weight loss part of training can be the hardest part for many fighters. ur wrong bro...1 pound means something.
__________"
Theres a reason why he was unftd in 140. 140 was his prime weight class. Not 135 and not 147. Him going up to 147 is not going to the next level. He was a bloated Hatton fighting in a weight class that Mayweather had been fighting in for 2 years.

WTF Ricky started at 140 going to the next level is a common thing in boxing, not 2-3-4 levels 1 division 7 pounds...
Floyds win over Hatton >>>>>>>>>.. Pacs win
Spectaculat fashion <<<,Pac
Meaningfulness<<<<<<<<<< Floyd Mayweather Jr's win

What are you talking about? If you look at Pac situation and facts when he fought Sasakul, Ledwaba and Hatton it is still much better than Floyd other big wins.
Pac beating the WBC and lineal champ Sasakul as 19 year old teen without proper foundation (Olympic amateur boxing) and world class trainer (Floyd has Olympic boxing experienced plus his father and uncle as his trainer) is much better than 21 yr old Floyd beating Hernandez when all the things he needs to be great were all within his reach. So did when Pac beat the arguably the no.1 fighter at 122 Ledwaba with just 2 weeks notice and when he beat Hatton at his own weight division where he was truly undefeated and a lineal champ. If you are trying to justify Floyd win against Hatton at 147 was legit then to be fair, you do it to Pac vs Cotto as well. 140 Hatton against Floyd at 147 Hatton moved up 7 lbs while Floyd waited and stayed at his best weight not bothered to give some leveling field against a smaller fighter.
ur talking situation n sh it. that doesnt matter. who cares about the damn sob story. the thing that matters is the wins and who they were against. i dont care if pac was one legged and he beat these guys. that doesnt make them better wins if floyd fought better fighters.
floyd has better wins than these. the other two help ur point. but those dont add much.
