shane better study that ricky hatton tape. imo he's got a great chance,as paulie is nowhere near the pacquiao's power. paulie is also plagued with career stopping injuries to both hands, and it could be a factor in the outcome. i'd say 60/40 in mosley's favor.
though i'd say paulie is going to fight bailey or collazo next. bailey on the berto card, and collazo on the floyd card.
Tough one to call.
If Shane was a decade or two younger I'd pick him in a heartbeat but as we saw in his last few fights he has nothing left and doesnt really try to win anymore. Paulie though is not Floyd or Pac. This guy was stopped by Khan and has slowed down himself.
After afew rounds of frsutrating Shane I see Paulie falling apart as he cant hold the weight of Shanes shots, particulalry the body punches. It may even pan out like teh Mosley - Collazzo fight but this all depends on Shane turning up to win and not just going through the motions.
Lots of talk before the fight.
The fight itself; lots of holding, running, moving away, tapping of the gloves, booing, empty venue, boxing writers falling asleep, no one watching on tv- if it even makes it that far.
As for who wins and how....who cares? There's a lot more exciting talent around than these two phonies.
shane could probably still beat him, decision or stoppage, but i'd love to see malignaggi take it. this late in mosley's career, i'd like think malginaggi has a shot, haha.
Shane is pretty damn shot. Paulie has yet to fight anyone good at 147. This is a good Showtime main event.
Personally, I'd LOVE to see Oscar, fresh outta rehab, come back for one more crack at Shane. Only meaningful fight left for Shane.
Shane wins a UD.
Paulie aint as defensive as Sergio Mora.
Mora is not defensive at all, he gets hit too much to be considered defensive. I consider him slick. He fights inside way too much to be defensive. Defensive fighters like their space.

Paulie aint as defensive as Sergio Mora.
True, but Mora isn't as effective offensively as Paulie.
To be honest though, the question should be; If it's Paulie/SSM, then who cares? I don't, and I don't know who would win, but the one who looked shot to **** his last 3 fights is Mosley.
I think paulie has a good chance to outbox him, speed and elusive enough to make Shane miss and tire out, BUT I say Shane KO paulie even this late in his career
In Mosley's defense I will say that I think he overlooked Mora just like Forrest did in the 1st fight. I also think the Southpaw thing played a big role.
The fight was at 154 & Mora came in at 157. Also everyone thought Mora would fight Mosley but he stayed outside and tried to box like Ali all night which I think through Shane off.
Shane still shouldve done alot better but sometimes I do give guys a lil break when the opponent is a Southpaw. I have to see Shane look like crap one more time "against a righty" before I write him off
50/50 fight. Mosley needs to stay away from Defensive fighters PERIOD. That just unacceptable for Mosley to lose to Mora of all people who lost to Brian Frickin Vera!
