If he does, there's no way Khan-Prescott II doesn't happen. I actually want to see that because Khan can show us how much he's improved. Surprisingly, Prescott does have a style that can have some success against him. He has a nice jab, decent timing and we all know he can punch. Of course he'd still get dominated and stopped, but hey, it's good revenge. It's better than waiting until it's far too late like Hopkins did against RJJ.
And who knows, maybe Khan will try to stop him quicker than he was stopped lol that would be funny.
Problem with Prescott is, the guys a loser. He loses all the time. Khan cannot face such a $hitty fighter. At the very least Prescott needs to beat McCloskey.
But I doubt a crap fighter like Prescott will be able to beat McCloskey. I hope he does, so khan can end his career once and for all.
And anyone who thinks Prescott has khans number is an idiot. Khan would school him.
Mattysse definitely lost to Zab, close but clear. It was no robbery.
Matthysse is good, but nothing special. Regardless, of whether he was robbed or not, Matts LOST his last TWO. You cannot blame Khan for that.
Since Lucas lost, Khan would get zero credit from facing a loser. Nothing to gain.

I guess I should be flattered, that you followed up my post. I was the first to say Khan should take this fight against Prescott, so thank you for seeing the light. I see many on this same thread said earlier that Khan didn't need to fight or shouldn't fight Prescott again. Now I see they have changed thier mind, good for them. You guys are learning, its about time. I personally think Khan has not gotten better skill wise, he has gotten bigger, but if you don't know already let me tell you. Bigger does not mean better. Khan makes the same mistakes over and over. He rushes in with his chin up in the air, and he pulls out with his chin up in the air. He throws all of his punches with full power in combonations, much like Manny Pacquiao. This is good when fighting come foward brawlers, or shot boxers, BUT WHEN YOU FACE A SHARP COUNTER PUNCHER with reach and the balls to stand and punch between your punches, then you have a problem. The more punches you throw the more holes you leave open for counters. Prescott mite never be shiit, but I think he has Khans number, and a true hatred for him, that makes him fight on an elite level just against Khan. If khan does not rematch Prescott He will forever be known as a ducker, and he will retire with that loss on his mind forever.

i too want him to win and impress because you cant just make a fight just because someone KO you 2 years ago, when that person went on to do pretty much nothing, the rematch need to make more sense and a win over mccloskey would go along way to make a rematch valid.
Prescott isn't exactly a bum & considering he is meant to be it says an awful lot considering the fact he knocked Khan the fcuk out in 30 seconds and he is extremely hesitant to get in there & settle the score.
He goes into everyones backyard with the odds stacked against him and always gives a good account for himself, he gave Vazquez nightmares, flooring him & IMO that fight could of gone either way. Sure he lost to Mitchell who isn't too shabby but I suppose Mitchells a bum because he got caught by Katsidis?
Prescott is underrated IMO, calling him a bum is absurd.
Matthyse went life and death with Judah. Khan killed Judah... It's just a triangle theory, but I think Khan kills Matthyse.
Bradley or Maidana/Guerrero winner are the obvious choices for Khan.
I had Matthysse comfortably beating Judah, felt he beat Alexander to a pulp as well and was once again robbed!
Bradley is a midget, overrated as hell, the guy is short as hell for the weight & has a non existent jab, Khan would ruin him and he knows it.
He won't rematch Maidana IMO & Guerrero isn't proven at the weight.
Sure Maidana beat Matthysse in the amateurs twice or whatever but IMO Matthysse hits harder, he is technically more sound, faster, has better stamina, combinations, footwork etc
As a pro he matured a lot more, I personally think Maidana needs a better trainer
I think Matthysse has a very good chance of knocking Khan sparkers. I genuinely do.

Not to mention a mean left hook
I would like to see Khan fight Mattysse. That's what I wanna see.
And me but I think Khan and his team know it's a big risk for little reward, they will just play on ''Matthysse has lost twice'' I can't see them in any hurry to jump in the ring with Matthysse though IMO the guy certainly deserves a shot. It's typical he won't fight Matthysse but will get in the ring with Morales ghost.
Can't say I blame him though, lot easier fight for a lot bigger payday.
If Khan had any minerals he'd give Matthysse a shot because IMO the only action packed fight he has been in in maybe 5 years now was against Maidana and it wasn't because Khan was so great, it was down to handpicked opposition.
Win-lose-draw with Matthysse you're getting value for money & that guy is as tough as anybody & giving anybody on the planet major problems.
I'd like to see Prescott win, but mainly because I like him more. While a Khan rematch should probably happen if he does, it's not the main reason I want him to win.
If Khan wanna fight Mayweather, he should be confident enough to give Prescott a rematch and defeat him (not to say that Khan fear Prescott but just to clear the doubt).
So I certainly hope Prescott gets by McCloskey too so the Khan fight is on track.
Yup I'm hoping Prescott gets by McCloskey. That would pressurize Khan to fight him and it hopefully materializes. I know many feel the fight is unnecessary for Khan because of his improvement since the loss, but a win against Prescott would do wonders for him. First of all, it would silence many of his critics, and reassure Khan of himself and his ability to take a punch from that guy. Not to mention the ecstasy and satisfaction of having redeemed himself.

Breidis Prescott is a bum.
I like McCloskey so no lol
Although he better not put up another non-effert offensive wise performance like that again. He's on his last warning for me as a fan.
im rooting for prescott to beat McCloskey!
Prescott is still a little bit underrated! i think he is a raw talent who never got the word class trainer like khan has!
Khan and prescott are very big 140 pounder! its an interesting fight!
