Lets settle this once and for all! Who really won Ortiz or Peterson?

I had it 95-94 for Ortiz so it ended up being awfully close Even- 1,2,7 Ortiz- 3,4,10 Peterson- 5,6,8,9

I just re-scored it and have it 95-94 Ortiz. Ortiz could arubally have sweeped the first 5 rounds plus the two KD's but I gave Round 2 to Peterson. *I had round 5 an even round. Can't be mad at that...

This fight had always been baffling. I always thought that Peterson was the clear winner, but obviously I found that I'm in the minority. Whatever. I feel like Lamont made it even and surpassed.

I always have it a draw, 6-4 in rounds to Peterson.

What really shocked me was that in the 8th round I believe, Lamont hurt Ortiz. I know I really believe Peterson's power is underrated..He hurt Bradley to the body when they fought... The bad thing about Peterson is it seems he has to be hit or hurt to make him notice hey I'm in a fight..Then he fights up to the level of the fighter he is fighting..If he could start how he finishes he will be a boxer to watch for..Peterson is still young in terms of what he has done in the ring and still has much to learn..I'm excited to see him fight tonight can't wait..:boxing:

im a fan of both fighters, a bigger ortiz fan than i am a peterson fan. with that said i was fine with the draw. ortiz might have really won but en then he didnt deserve it. and plus i think it served as a wakeup call for ortiz. great fight tho.

I'm fairly sure that 95-93 is impossible without an even round. You must mean 96-94 Ortiz. I had it even in terms of rounds, 5-5. Then take off the two points for the KDs. Unless my math is worse than I thought....

I'm not saying Ortiz is a technical phenom or anything, I'm just saying he could have outboxed and knocked out MAIDANA, a guy who probably can't spell boxing. Ortiz was winning the fight by a wide margin when he lost. The only round he lost was when he quit between rounds. That is it. So all you have against Ortiz is Maidana and Peterson. Two very close fights, one of which was being dominated by Ortiz until the end...C'mon dude. Damn Ortiz won every rd except the rd in which the fight ended..Sh!t,my card was closer then that..I know my cards were closer..Ortiz is a good fighter,but he has done nothing to make me think he is a better(or far better as ya put it)fighter then Peterson..

No way I can give the 4th round to Peterson. He took a lot of shots and seemed to be recovering that round. Thus the 95-95 score. That was my score and reaction rd by rd..Like I said I can't be mad at anyone's scorecard because it was a close fight..But it was not a robbery..I would not mind seeing that fight again tbh..

I watched it on mute. Man, I need to learn how to use Youtube properly. As simple as it seems I must not be doing something properly because I looked up this fight a month or so ago and couldn't find it anywhere. Same goes for the Mayweather-Oscar 24-7, couldn't find that either. Then some guy uploaded a segment from it earlier. But thanks alot!
