Whose Your Commentator "Dream Team?"

Let's say the fight of the century is coming up and you get to choose 5 commentators of your liking to call the fight. 4 round by round and 1 to check in after rounds 3, 6, and 9. Who would YOUR dream team be? I'd go: Lampley, Steward, Bernstein, and Foreman round by round with Lederman checking in. It was hard for me not to throw Larry Merchant in there with Big George as they are SO entertaining together! Who would YOU choose?

Al Bernstein is the best in the game and it isn't even close. The Showtime crew destroy the HBO crew.

I like the Box Azteca team. They really get into the fights like a soccer match. It all depends on the fight though. Sometimes I want the announcers to shut up, then sometimes a little talk helps a slow fight. Particulalry, when a boxer is on a team I like when they can articluate, like Roy, Tarver and Foreman. McGuigan is good too. Lampley is always good, I also like Steward. Merchant seems like he is just showing up drunk every time now, he is losing his touch IMO. Bob Papa is good, Teddy is good, Tessitore is good and Nick Charles was good too. Old school guys like Ferdie Pacheco were awesome. Bobby Cyz was ok. I guess my dream team would be a combination of any of these guys. Definitely no Lennox or Jim Grey.

Good question and never thought about it. I just know I would never include Jim Lampley or Larry Merchant. I can't stand either one of them they are just terrible IMO.

The REAL Champion Commentator There is only one....he does EVERYTHING, commentator, analysis, forecaster, etc and is entertaining as well. Col Bob Sheridan-the One and Only.
